Lurker Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 No. It would take almost as long to produce as a completely new airframe. I would much rather that the team behind the Huey takes a stab at the Blackhawk, Seahawk or similar transport\gunship helicopter. ebabil Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 how on earth it would take same time as long as doing it from the scrach? flight model is ready, instruments are ready, weapons are not complex and they are also ready. did the team spends same amount of years for a-10c 2? Brass2-1 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Personally I’d rather see the UH-1 team build a Super Cobra or Viper, though an older Cobra to accentuate the Huey period-wise would be great also.

I am hoping for either an AH-1F or AH-1W, both either 80s or early 90s. They'd be something different compared to Apache, and complement both Huey and Hind greatly. 6 minutes ago, gortex said: All the screen shot junkies might want an upgrade. I'm very happy with the Huey as it is. Yeah I'm inclined to agree. Yes, it's graphical level IS showing its age at this point, but what matters for me is the character of the aircraft, quality of the module from system and flight modeling perspectives, and then there's the relatively recent addition of pretty well working multicrew experience. Huey IS still one of the best modules in my opinion, even if it isn't necessarily the best looking these days. 3 Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
Steel Jaw Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Nope. Its a boring chopper. Waiting on an actual killing machine, the Longbow. "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB, monitor: GIGABYTE M32QC 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz.
WelshZeCorgi Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 If it adds stuff and not just graphical upgrades, absolutely. Add passenger models and animations, civilian, soldiers, wounded, stretchers, medics. Add animations of embarking and disembarking. Flight model upgrade and bug fixing. More work on multicrew. If they deliver those, absolutely. 1
carss Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 If they were gonna make one, then I hope they make something like the UH-1Y Venom [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4

Munkwolf Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 A cool part of an upgrade could be AI co-pilot functionality like petrovich after that is built out and refined as part of the hind. Hewey AI?
Lurker Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 It's not happening. I think PilotMi8 already commented on this and stated that it would take the same amount of resources as building a brand new chopper like the Blackhawk, for example. It's simply not a wise business decision. Specs: Win10, i5-13600KF, 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200XMP, 1 TB M2 NVMe SSD, KFA2 RTX3090, VR G2 Headset, Warthog Throttle+Saitek Pedals+MSFFB2 Joystick.

DeTesla Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 I'd pay for an updated module, for sure. I got close to 4000 hours in the Huey alone. If we get a UH-1N i'd be livid, and i'd pay a nifty price for it too. The UH-1H is outdated in todays standard, however sadly devs seems less than likely to even bat it an eye at this point. 1 Norwegian Rotorhead w\ All Helicopters Watercooled AMD FX-8350 | Geforce 1060 6GB | 16 GiG DDR3 | Warthog Everything w/ pendulum pedals | Rift VR Watercooled AMD Ryzen 9500X | RTX 3080 12GB | 64 GB DDR4 3600mhz | Warthog Everything w/Pendulum Pedals | Rift VR (CV1)
