F-4 Phantom II confirmed

The F-4 was confirmed by Kate in an interview but nonetheless, this teasing may indicate that the release isn't that far away. Mudhen 2024 and F-4 2023 is a reasonable estimate I'd say.

Lots to look forward to next year! Hopefully we also get Vulkan.

2024 for the F-15E? Say it ain't so! That's wayyyy to long to wait.  :sad_2:

Lots to look forward to in that video, but the South Atlantic map is #1 on my list.

Some of the planes, but all of the maps!

I find it very odd that HBs Eurofighter was nowhere in the video. I guess that probably means it will come out in 2023 at the earliest.

Mitsubishi Zero. AI I assume, probably linked to the WWII version of the Marianas.

Bold choice to tease an aircraft before your delayed teased aircraft even sees EA.  Starting to fall behind even in EA releases. Also a conspicuous absence of the A-10.

That's an Fw190 with a Zero skin... a bit sad to show this in the trailer... I hope the point is that there will be a WW2 Marianas soon.

It's definitely a fantastic video. Although... I'd sort of like a written summary of where they're at with certain developments, the same as they did last year. Leaves less room for ambiguity, speculation and false hopes!

But I shall take what I can get 🙂

The one and only hope I have is that 2022 is finally the year in which we get the engine enhancements/multicore support that will allow DCS finally to shine in VR on modern computers. If they manage that I will be a happy camper.

Dont think that was any surprise to many. Havent HB already said it will be reeased after anther module?

Can you please clarify the bit that starts with "bold" and end with "A-10" please?

AFAIK what they stated was that they would not release another module into EA before the F14 and the Viggen were out of EA. I doubt that they would release something before the Eurofighter, since it's the furthest along of the modules they have in development and the only one which they've already showcased in their own promo video.
