Clickable cockpits for Flaming Cliffs 3

A new mod that makes FC3 aircraft clickable is in development by RedK0d.

All FC3 aircraft and Su-25T are partially clickable (limited to avionics implemented originally by ED).

Conflict with rafale mod by cuesta brother cockpit su 25 appears above that of the rafale shame

It also conflicts with the Eurofighter mod.

Should be easy to fix. Just add a line for the conflicting aircraft in the entry.lua file according to other examples already there.

Most likely any Mod based on Fc3 is not compatible, but no big deal, that’s what mod managers are for

If you wished for more people being aware, you'd put it on Nexus. This topic will drown, like any other with decent mods, and won't be readily available in a couple of months.

I created this topic because clickable fc3 cockpits is something I have always wanted to have in dcs, and since I am hardly alone, I wanted to let the community here know of its existence.

Because Nexus DCS page looks rather bleak with 2 items that aren't even mods per se.

Well, I guess someone will eventually ask creators of this and other great mods to finally start gathering these to a place they will actually be visible. Lockonfiles is definitely not such a place. I just mentioned that forum threads are just as bad for that.

That's effectively the main global problem with DCS modding. People just don't have a reliable way to see what's happening, if there's new stuff, what's updated, etc. So much human labor is wasted.

Sorry off base question.  Is it possible to change the cockpit completely for a FC3 aircraft since they are not encrypted ?  Is it possible to copy the Cockpit folder for the JF-17 and place over the SU-25 possibly ? Just curious

Fantastic Mod. I thought I wouldn't really need it as I've spent the years learning all the key commands but for certain actions it's incredible. Also, it's the best way to learn the cockpits of the FC3 planes - sure, there are diagrammes in the manual etc, but having the actual button in the actual cockpit while flying is priceless.

Not that I’ve found. According to the announcement made by his nephew, he died suddenly in August of 2020. I’ve spent hours searching for an obituary or something similar in the San Paulo area but have come up empty. It doesn’t help that I don’t speak Portuguese.
