[CONTROLS] Radar range + azimut + flaps extension

Recommended Posts

The assignable buttons for "Radar control stick scan selection" LEFT and RIGHT and "Radar control stick scale selection" LEFT and RIGHT are only switching between complete Left and complete Right when assigned to a button.

It is impossible to select anything between 60 and 7 NM range and in terms of azimuth anything between 60 and whatever the black part beside of 30 means.

Thiswas mentioned in Redkites or Spudknockers radar tutorial on YT.

You need to use the mouse on the corresponding switch in the cockpit. Button mappings only work for the min/max settings.

Yes, I know, but I wanted to report it.

As this is a pretty useless assignment.

I have assignation in joystick to left and right radar range, left and right radar azimut scan angle... and lower - raise flaps.

All of them makes the full movement to the extremes of the values. Never changes in between the values. Range with just a press of the right-left goes from min to max in just one press.

Azimult the same, and flaps the same. Would be nice to just control increments to the right-left and flaps step through all the stages. The only way to go in between values is with mouse... and that is an inconvenience sometimes.

Thanks!

This is the same for the radar modes knob. Pretty annoying since it makes that keybind actually useless.

Hi.

So i found a couple of inputs, where the bound key functionality is not working properly. Clicking on them in cockpit works fine, but binding them to buttons is not.
For reference i am binding them on a click dial so everytime i do 1 step it gives 1 quick button press.

The functions i found not to be working:
-Radar mode selection. It jumps one extreme position to the other instead of going with each click through each mode.
-Radar Scan range also when bounding this to buttons it jumps from one extreme to the other
-Radar Scan cone also when bounding this to buttons it jumps from one extreme to the other

All of these functions work fine when clicking them but not when bound to a button

Cheers

  • GottHold changed the title to Bound inputs are not working properly

I hope this gets an early fix, as it seems that every button in the assignments with more than two positions has this full left/right bug.

The radar range select and azimuth select binds don't really work.

It should increment from 60-7 and 60deg-the lowest one. Currently its just min/max no increments, i.e 60/7 for range. please fix.

No, not all of them. For instance, "Radar control stick range/velocity" controls work just fine. I'm making a list.
