Eh man... I just found the mod and downloaded it and I'm having the same issue. To @SMH- I don't know how to put THIS any clearer: Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it isn't a problem. CLEARLY this is an issue that exists and isn't because everyone else on the planet is stupider than you. SMFH.

Thank you to @nighteyes2017... That solved the problem. @Ghostmaker do what night says and you'll be able to extract all the files.

They should be under Ground Units - Infantry and Static Objects - Personnel. 

(Oh and @Massun92, a few of your personnel are 180 degrees reversed from their direction set in the ME.)

Hi SMH! -- yeah I know, but I´m making a new personnel models, with proper animations, modular system (can be used for different eras) and overall better quality. So, the rotation of the personnel will be solved with the new models.

Can someone confirm if the Ram 2500 was removed from ver 3.0 or it's just my DCS acting weird?

EDIT:

Figured it out - per the documentation it was removed due to copyright reasons.

That's ridiculous. As if artists can't depict a product that the world is full of examples of! You cannot "copyright" the shape of your vehicle. (You can design patent it, which only prevents others from making vehicles in that shape, not from depicting that shape in artworks, which DCS assets absolutely are by every definition of the term.)

Hey everyone, love the mod.

 

Has anyone else had an issue with not being able to spawn AI or Player aircraft under either of the Aircraft shelters (Either Shelter01 or Shelter02)? In the editor when I put a player/AI slot under the shelter when the aircraft is spawned at a parking space, the sim changes the planes spawn location at mission start/when the group is activated. Static aircraft work fine, as do "Start from ground" player groups (But thats not an option for AI units). Is this unavoidable, is there a lua value I can tinker?

the problem was that the cockpit of the ram I download it from sketchfab and wasnt made by me.  That is way I prefer to remove it from the asset pack and I will remade it from scratch, with better quality

yeah, I wasnt able to spawn under the shelter neither.  If someone knows any solution let me know

This issue with shelters has been around for a while now, around 2.7 is used to work just fine, you could park your Tucano under one of VCP's super shelters, do the whole start up and fly thing then park again under it.

Then it stopped working, I reported it and I think others did as well but nothing ever happens with stuff like that, sadly.  

If you place the shelter as an object and then try to start fly from under that shelter it will always default you to the nearest start point that isnt under a shelter, and its bloody annoying I know !!

@Massun92 Congrats on getting stuff implemented into the game 🙂

 

I echo @JonathanRL post. Having more/higher quality assets to play with for designing missions is more or less in the same tier as the F4 for me

 

Im sure youre about to be swamped with new questions, but any ideas on what all is planned to be added to Core?

Today's news is fantastic! We soooo needed this integrated in the game!

Now I can adapt proper HESCOs for the FOBs in RotorOps, create airports that look alive and new FARPs and outposts in mission templates etc. Everything I never could, because it would require people to download and integrate stuff into their installation of DCS before joining a mission or creating a RotorOps mission.

I hope ED looks further into integration of community content. I understand it is critical to ensure it doesn't infringe on Intellectual Property, but if it's an original creation of a community artist, it can be a great asset for mission builders.

Congratulations@Massun92, thank you for your hard work! I wasn't aware of the mod before the news article, I'm delighted to hear it will be added to the DCS core 🙂 Expect many of your assets to start popping up in community servers and missions shortly 🙂

First of all, congratulations, it's a very good news and a deserved award for your hard work!

I have a question that, I guess, some are going to ask so here it is:

I have a mission planned for the 22nd with many static objects of your Mod.

Is it going to work if I keep the mod installed after the next DCS update to make the mission run and/or avoid to place all the objects again?

I guess they will have different names so having the mod active should probably create doubles but I want to be sure it will not mess up an existing mission 🙂

Not valid for AI aircraft (which cant use take-off from ground), but the player aircraft's can spawn if set to "Takeoff from Ground" instead of "Takeoff from Ramp", like this:
