Hi first I want to say I'm a huge fan of these asset packs. I have a question about the shahed 136 speed. After seeing this clip,

of course I went to try it in DCS and I found that the drone, after its boost phase, eventually settles down to about 140 knots TAS which is 261 km/h. That's pretty quick for Mi-8 intercept, and public info about the 136 gives its top speed as 185km/h. Are we sure about the shahed's speed in DCS? Mostly I just want to do a mission where I try to kill a flock of them with the Mi-8 doorgunner, thanks!

Oh, really? This is where I placed my mods, where is the correct place to place them? 1.1.2 has been extracted to a folder and overwritten and saved, but no textures show up for the Tu-95 and Tu-160. As for the other ground and Ka-52, it is working fine.

Is shell ejection possible for warship main guns? you see videos of giant shell ejections from ships and was wondering if that could be something that could be done with DCS mods?

To say nothing about wishes that, once granted, raise clamor for the exact opposite wish, like just happened with the cockpit reflections on some aircrafts 🙂

Most probably conflict with another mod?

My game CTD when loading the UK Pack, but bbtbmb noted, in another thread that the updated Charles de Gaulle CV ship mod clashed with this mod.

Once I unloaded that mod, the game ran again with UK Pack loaded.

If you're running other mods, try test as stand alone, or just CH mods running

no, seems to be a bug on the ST version of DCS. Use the MT (multi-thread) version instead.

I figured it would be easier to fix the CDG/UK crash from the CDG mod being that the UK mod probably has a tonne of sensors while CDG only has a few respectively I never had a crash until Beldin's CDG update which is wonderful BTW

Hi CH, thanks for the amazing packs and the UK especially !!!

Was just wondering why the STRB 90 can't fire its MG's on the IRGCN FAC C701 version (but the IRGCN can fire its MG's on the STRB?)

It can fire on the Igla version just fine... is it to do with the attributes set for the units? "Corvettes" "Light armed ships" etc...

Yep, it's the combination of the weapon type that's firing and the target type. If AI doesn't think the weapon will do any harm it won't fire, like having an asset with a 7.62 MG against a tank, it won't even try to engage. You can test that by having a helicopter engage the Strb 90, it will then use all its weapons to defeat it. 

But I will make a note about this and change the type for the 12.7 mm guns, which should engage these kind of lighter targets. 👍🏻

Amazing, thank you. Changing Type 10 to 3 has the 12.7's firing great now. I'm slowly learning 😎

Can't wait to see what's next.

While I don't have any information on CH's long-term plans after the maintenance updates, such as whether he'll work on a new country or expand an existing pack, I agree with you on seeing further development of the Turkish military asset pack.  The Turkish Armed Forces operate a lot of interesting equipment, and there's a good number of 3D models out there of said equipment.  Then again, these 3D models aren't cheap - I'd be surprised if you can find anything that fits the bill (split components and subgroups, high-poly, animated, rigged, and game-ready) for 100 dollars or below.
