The situation is absolutely inacceptable from a customer view. I paid big money for an unfinished product promised to be completed over time. This promise is on halt with strong indications to not beeing fullfilled at all. Not only will I never buy an EA product again I am also left stranded not knowing what to do. Waiting or moving on to another module. I am active in the MP community and the E was my main module.

We need to know a definite answer and roadmap how and when things will resume if at all. Otherwise its time for refunds and not looking back. The current situation with no infomation at all is unacceptable and everyday that passes my trust in ED / DCS / Razbam shrinks further into oblivion.

So now is not a good time to buy F15, I just prepared to place an order.

I want to search F15E manual then did I realize that such a thing had happened.

Please forgive my ignorance (I don't use discord or Reddit or any other platform, so perhaps I'm missing news here), but how do you guys know if there at all still is an issue?

I mean, I haven't seen any official announcements on this forum from ED about this whole thing. Call me naïve (I probably am 😉), but how do we know if there even still is an issue between Razbam and ED right now?

The current state of affairs is, that Razbam postet a follow up statement:

Dear customers and community RAZBAM Simulations is actively working with EAGLE DYNAMICS to reach an agreement to resolve our internal dispute and we don't want the discussion that our public declaration has generated to escalate any further. We want to assure you that it has never been nor will it be our intention to abandon our products. We look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution, turn the page, and move forward.

This is the latest official statement from either side on the matter (afaik). Now they are probably working it out behind closed doors and I doubt that we will hear anything until a definite result has been achieved (whatever that will be). I fully expect a statement like "All issues has been resolved - back to business" if everything goes well. I doubt that we get in-depth intelligence on the nitty gritty.

Thx @Hiob

Just requoted that because on my end the format wasn't readable. No offence.

None taken. Thank you!

I run the forum in dark mode, perhaps that's why it displays without problems here.

Tnx @Hiob

The way I read that (but my glass is usually half full 😉), is that we have nothing at all to worry about.

I feel the same. It isn't a matter of life and death for me anyway. But I'm confident that it'll blow over.

This. If there is a happy resolution I expect there will be a bit of a positive joint PR push from both ED and Razbam and then everyone moves on with things.  Until then, we watch and wait.

It might. On the other hand, It seems like most of Razbam team has called it quits.

So even IF they eventually come to terms, it will be a miracle if we see any type of updates anytime soon.

I have stopped flying the F-15E until I hear that there is a plan in place, I have no interest in investing my
time into a module that has no development or support.

This is a perfect example of why I made my original post regarding a disclaimer, folks shouldn't have to stumble across the current status of the project before buying, it should be crystal clear on the ED website/e-shop page.

How do we know there isn't an issue? Public statements were made from several folks at Razbam and ED's reply was essentially, we're working to resolve the issue. ED's reps acknowledged the issue on these forums, so there is an issue and it hasn't been resolved. If and when it is resolved there will surely be a public statement made by ED, which there hasn't been to date. So yeah, it's still up in the air, no pun intended.

At the last count, three RB devs had quit. Their flight model guy, 3D model guy, and the guy who did the M2000 updates.

Even if RB patch things up with ED, they don't have devs to continue work.

While I appreciate individuals the unfortunate truth is almost anyone can be replaced though it might cause delays, so I'm not too worried about that, not that it's a good sign either. But to my original point, that ED hasn't placed a disclaimer on the Razbam products they are selling informing potential buyers of the current status (that doesn't look too promising from our consumer standpoint) it's not in line with honest business practices. There hasn't even been a statement of continued support from ED of Razbam products regardless of reconciliation. The official response from ED (if you can even call it that) was definitely lacking in my honest opinion.

While I don't disagree with you, would you want to work with a company that had unknown, yet apparently very serious problems related to money? I sure as hell wouldn't! Been there in the past...never again.

So, almost a week since razbams announcement that they trie to not abandon things....

What is the status?

Going back to the original question, we don't know the status. What I know is that three of the main devs jumped off of the ship: Capt_Smiley, who was the flight model codder, Metal2Mesh, the 3D model guy and lastly, Galinette, or Radar Chicken God, the guy who codded the radar for the Razbam products. Yesterday he post a fareweel note on his YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/@Chwibon?si=-9IZNHVbseP8fKv_

So whatever it is going on in the background, doesn't look good. For now, all we have is abandonware products that will take a long time to have development retaken by new devs or ED.

Have you looked at the newsletter forum regarding the pre-purchase of the Chinook? Lots of people with the same sentiment.

I see no such thing. So either it's been turned into a "private video", or else it's been removed altogether.

I think, way too much damage was done already. Talented and seasoned devs leaving DCS completely is real long term damage... This whole thing is just sad.

I’m sure everyone saw that ED put up a video saying the chinook is up for pre-purchase, the timing sucks, it looks bad coming so close after this public bust up. I won’t be buying any first party DCS stuff until this gets resolved.

It’s pretty messed up alright. I’m developing refund issues.
