Don't close the thread, I like reading how people lose their minds. This is already worth what I paid for the SE. There is a global conspiracy in this, without losing sight of the comet that is approaching to end humanity (thx @Nuevelíneas)

Been waiting almost week now for a refund, but it hasn't even been looked at as far as I can tell.  I'm assuming this must be because the system is swamped with requests?

Refunds are being processed, it can take 7 to 10 working days but you will get it so do not worry.

thank you

Took about 5 days for me but I was one of the early ones.

I had a squad mate put his in the day before me and his only took him 2 days.

I imagine ED is getting swamped with refund request and they have to manually address their support tickets including the request for refund. ED more than likely does not have an automated process for this unlike BIG digital distribution companies like Steam and Epic.

Not defending anyone but I imagine this problem is compacted by the fact that not every one wants a refund on their F15e.

This is not the situation. ED and DCS is not in any sort of financial trouble. I know there are a lot of crazy theories out there.

Thank you for stamping on this issue from this conspiracy theorist pipe guy. I find it important that ED stops this nonsense of them being in financial trouble, this is slandering the Company and fueling an unnecessary fire.

Man! 78 pages of BS and you're still not losing it!? How many times have you answered the same thing? I know I would have lost it 40 pages ago.

You deserve the Nobel Peace Price!

I know you're not gonna get that, but at least Nick Gray should give you a big raise! Or at least pay for all the therapy you'll probably need for just reading everything here.

I just orderered the Chinook. Probably never gonna fly it, just to show my support to you guys (and yeah I have all the RB modules as well, not gonna ask for a refund)!

@BIGNEWY thank you!

I love DCS, I own every Modul and will buy every plane and map. No refund for me. Every plane has a decent level of quality and you get what you pay for (except the hawk). 70 bucks for an EA product like the SE which can offer everybody here 100 hours of fun is really fair.

Best Military flight sim out there, and every 3rd Party module is much more realistic than any paid module for a Civil sim out there. (Except the hawk)

Please correct me if I am wrong that the mod will be removed from the local DCS installation after the refund occurred (sorry if I missed anything from this 78-page thread)?  Thanks.

It will show as 'unauthorized' when you start DCS. You then can go into the module manager and delete from there

The problem will be that over time the aircraft will start to break an will no longer get fixes/patches an will eventually be too broken to fly. Thats if ED doesn't do what they did with the Hawk and just remove it from the game entirely.

This is not BS and second it's his job to answer to each one until we have an official communication from ED. We don't have any news from ED since 2 months, 04/04/24

Since when is it his job to provide YOU with information ?
He has repeatedly said there's ongoing discussion that they are unable to discuss the matter, tell me you're behaving like an entitled  person without acting like one.

My wife has worked retail. Things don't always go to plan. There are some customers who understand this and are pleasant as everyone tries to do the best with what they have to work with. Then there are the self-entitled rude loud customers who thinks "the customer is always right" and that the staff are there to serve them in anyway they see fit, and they can be rude, obnoxious, etc and expect to still get served and only will accept answers that suit them regardless of what the staff can or can't do, so I can empathize with BN and 9L.

Bignewy and Nineline have shown incredible patience as people keep making accusations, asking questions that they asked previously that have already been answered numerous times over and over because they want a different answer, and now - even told what their job entails by some random customer on a forum, while remaining patient.

This does deserve recognition and thanks. And even if you can't be thankful or grateful for the work they're putting in, there's no need to jump on someone else post who's giving thanks because they're grateful and can see the patience that BN and 9L have been showing.

OMG. First and foremost I'm not asking ANY CM anything, it was a reply for another user. He's the community manager and he's doing his job well.

OK I agree, I'm not diminishing their work but it just not for a nobel as the other user mentioned. It's their job, they are doing well. If ED come with an official response then the CM just could link to that response instead. Imagine if the CM just went angry for any user that ask the same question over and over BECAUSE there's no official news.

I dunno. After seeing what some people have been getting awards for on more recent years - I think this would qualify above some of em in my eyes. 😉

Anyway - weekend coming up soon. Hopefully a lot of fun for us all is to be had. 🙂
