reported FC3 doesn't exist?

i also having a issue with FC4 update ..paid the 9.99    it installs a few planes..re boots..the ehre is another install that pops up...( shown in attached pic) It sorta goes through a QUICK install   re starts game....and the Need to install item is STILL there   it never instalss.....HELP!!!  i did try the select all airplanes  DELETE ...then re select and install...did NOT solve the issue.

Just wanted to confirm that the fix for former Steam users who transferred to Standalone works.  I started DCS this morning, issue was there (all FC3 and FC3 planes greyed out and inaccessible), shut down DCS, went to ED site, when to my profile and hit get licenses, transferred licenses, opened up DCS and no authorization message, and all the FC3 planes show up individually and I took out the Mig-29S in an instant action free flight just to confirm.  Seems to be working now, although the module manager still shows FC3 as being available for DL.  Also note* other modules transferred from steam years ago when I switched over were not affected, only FC3 (I had the UH-1H, Gazelle, Mi-8, Caucasus, and some others that were not affected by the issue, only FC3

Just uninstalled all the FC3 planes as I couldn't use them at all and was in an endless FC3 install loop, then I got an option to install the SU33 and thats all, now I have that and no other individual FC 3 planes available, ED sure made a mess of this, I sent my logs to BN as he asked for them trying to help me but so far I have heard nothing.

Its a hot mess this FC3 debacle, I dont really feel I should be wasting my time to sort this out, it was caused by ED and they should fix it with a hotfix, but they wont it will be hey get hold of customer support, jump through this hoop, jump through that hoop.

All I want is my A10A back im missing out of squad missions...sigh

So what are the current recommended steps to get rid of this FC3 install. I am stuck in a loop too. I click install. It installs something with 7.9 MB. And the message of pending modules is still in game.

The launcher shows  me 5 available installs, that are invisible.

Please ignore the FC3 pack as it will be removed, all of your aircraft now have individual licences and should be installed as individual aircraft.

Affirmative, but what to do if module manager is unable to detect these individual a/c, as seen on YoYo's example screen above? Are any extra steps necessary within customer profile page on ED website?

The problem is that I see for example only Su-33, I dont see the rest planes from FC3 pack, so I cant install individual licences.

did you buy all of the aircraft from the eshop. or are they linked from steam? 

If they are linked from steam please go to the DCS account page and the steam link area and hit the get licences button again.

I installed FC3 then got a bunch of authorisation issues, uninstalled all modules  and now this is what I see.

Untick FC3 and download Su-33 and ignore the prompts for FC3 pack. 

if you still have issues please create a support ticket.

Thanks for that. It made no difference. The Su-33 installs OK, but I just authorisation issues for all the others when I install FC3.

Any comments about J-11 missing both from module manager and Special Tab?

Before we were able to select cockpit options and language on the Special tab.

Now is missing.

OK, so I resolved the issue. Looking back 8 years, it seems that I bought FC3 from Steam, so I did 'Get Licences' from my ED Store profile page, and all is now good.

It would be nice if we could get the original FC3 Icon back together with wallpaper and music cover.

Make a copy of \saved games\dcs\missioneditor\logbook.lua. Now edit the file - find and fix path to Bear Trap campaign file. It was previously pointing to Flaming Cliffs subfolder - now it's in the \DCS\mods\aircraft\F-15C\missions\campaigns... check the exact path in the explorer.

It's strange that it still reports FC3 for the download in DCS Module Manager and new Launcher. Maybe the new patch will fix it, so it's not a question of the ED server for authorization?

It's a bug. Just ignore the notification. They will fix it probably in the hotfix.
