No fixes, no update or no public changelog DCS 2.9.17.12034 ?

Please give the team time to look at all of the feedback and make the tweaks they need to, the module has just been released. 

This patch will have been to soon to add stuff to, it takes weeks to test updates, and the whole of DCS and that happens well in advance. 

So please be patient updates will come when the dev team are ready.

I understand, and never thought, that there would be new addition to the module quickly, Magnitude 3 did a good job so far. But that said, it is not normal that no one actually took the time to repair a problem that is not happening with 100% of the module in DCS.

 

A quick fix should have been sent out for the multiplayer gear sync issue.

I'm disappointed that the gear sync in multiplayer hasn't been fixed.

A hotfix should have been released.

Edit As written by others after my post (we also test it with my budy), the gear sync has been fixed with the last patch which is strange because there is no patchlog about the corsair.

Hmmm it´s Early Acces and just released - so beter get some of the issues fixed orderly, than rushed fixes that add new issues.

It depends on how you fly. But if you mainly fly multiplayer, the fact that the train isn't synchronized doesn't make you want to fly, or make videos.

OK, don't fly or make videos then for now. Your purchased product isn't going anywhere.

If the bug was a simple issue to investigate and hotfix, they would've hotfixed it, just like in case of landing gear sound horn bug of the Mosquito.

Experience with other DCS modules show that visual desync issues in multiplayer are always pain to solve, even for ED, let alone for 3rd parties. I don't expect that one to be solved anytime soon.

The multiplayer gear issue is not an easy fix.  We absolutely had no issues in MP before testing began.

When testing started, there were still no issues, even right up to the final build at release.

Not every bug will be seen and/or created until mass  (mass as in 100-1000 users) tests occur sometimes.

 I notice the arc-38 switcholoy for cv carrier finding changed… and not a word about it.

That's indeed very interesting because ever since the update i only receive the identifier followed by the letter L (Code ". . _ .", 0-30degrees ) over the AAR-2 regardless of my position from the boat.

Bought the aircraft an hr or so before the update went live and flown it all night, only downloaded / installed the DCS  update a day later - radio homing worked as expected on day 1, but ever since i installed the update only the identifier followed by the letter L is received... Same mission as before, same frequencies etc, regardless of what i do to the AAR-2 (CW/Voice, and even on "wrong" channels same result), with ARC-5 switched on / off, no difference.

Chance is i might be doing something wrong still so not opening a bug report, but would love to have more experienced ppl chime in on this for sure.

Actually all of the keybinds (That I use) that were not working prior to the patch are now working.  Also, on our MP server, landing gear state shows the correct up or down state for other player F4Us.  The default view was moved back as well.  So there were actually a lot of fixes done in this patch.

Indeed, no more visible gear down of other players. 

Didn't try my self to fly it yesterday, what about the engine expoit, with over reving it to 4200, has been fixed as well?

EDIT: Yes, that over rev bug is still there.

I think it will take around 4-6 years to fully patch up the module. You can't expect a hot fix this soon. Give them time.

FIxes on the Flight Model and the drag model will serve to test again the Corsair speed and acceleration

It only says drag related to weapons and tanks. Nothing about a clean aircraft.  It says nothing about general flight model bugs. It says nothing about engine except fixing the ability to go past 2800rpm. So based on what they say. If fly a clean F4U now. And keep to the allowed engine parameters.  That will be the correct power and speed you get. There's also no mention about the very weak tourqe effects seen in the Corsair. Which is much less than in the other warbirds.

As i said its only 1 week after release, if something is not correct M3 will fix it.

It also says nothing about future patches, it simply states "a definitive list of bugs and improvements we have made so far", so i am not sure where you get the "based on what they say everything is correct" part. Specially since they also stated "We’re just getting started.  We have been reading the forums and watching YouTube videos.  With your feedback and enthusiasm, we’ll keep refining, updating, and flying higher together." in the same posting of theirs.

I guess we all perceive these words a little different from one another..

I'll 2nd what theIRIEone just said above.  I read this as what they HAVE ALREADY fixed or tweaked (even though it may not be released yet).  I in no way take them not mentioning the things you suggested as meaning they aren't on their radar to be fixed or tweaked.

EDIT TO ADD: from their website as a prelude to the list: "Below is a definitive list of bugs and improvements we have made so far:" which definitely says that's what they've done at least internally (I'm assuming it's not all released yet), so no evidence from this they are discounting any of the issues you raised.

New engine sounds including whistling and the fixed/new keybinds are working for me, it sounds fantastic now, very handy having trim reset and autopilot.
