As much as I love the hell out of the hornet/superhornet, the nostalgic fighter geek in me wants the F-14 Tomcat more than any other plane. I <3 Tomkitty.

I thought I saw somewhere that someone made a mod of one? Is this true, and if so, is it available somewhere to try out?

As far as I am aware work on the project is continuing.

Anything with decent A/G suite - lgb, jdam etc. Something that is desperately lacking in DCS.

FA18 variants a no brainer as can be AA, AG, Carrier etc .....

FC3, F86 Sabre, Mig 21Bis, A10C, C-101, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A18-C Hornet, UH1-H Huey, AV8-N/A Harrier, Mirage 2000c, Spitfire MKix, Me BF109 K-4, Tornado GR4 (one day).

I used to play Falcon4,but when i noticed that the F18 and Edge Were announced i switched ,and i must say,the level of realism that comes with the A-10c module is a real step up from BMS.

Has to be the best F-16 model to date please.

Then, you should really update your F-15 to the same level as the A-10c product.

Once that has been completed, possibly consider the F-14 (as you are already doing the F-18) - build up the American Carrier Fleet of aircraft.

Another aspect you could consider is the A-4 Skyhawk and introduce a Top Gun Package - (F-14, A-4, F-5, F-16)

Will there ever be a DCS: F-16?

I brought this up because I see this plane is freaking important in modern combat but it seems to me strange that ED has no shown interest in develop it. There are no evidence that is in their roadmap any time soon or later and even much of the community here seem to prefer less popular jets than this legend.

I'd like to hear an official word from ED and opinions of the members of these forums about a full DCS module of the Falcon

It's time to see a beautiful cockpit with moving switches and buttons packed in painstakingly reproduced flight dynamics and systems just like ED has done with the other full fidelity modules

What do you think?

PS: Falcon BMS looks way outdated and it's more like a dead end.

My rig specs:

Intel Core i7 4770 @3.4Ghz // Corsair 16GB DDR3 // MoBo Asus Z87K // HDD 1TB 7200RPM // eVGA Nvidia GTX 760GT 2GB DDR5 // LG 3D 47" 1920x1080 // Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS // Saitek Combat Pro Pedals // Thrustmaster MFD Cougar pack // PS3 Eye + FTNOIR

I don't think so.

i guess the only dead end is talking about a viper in DCS ;)

my opinion?

i have been flying Falcon 4.0, superpaks and AF until my wing switched to BMS, that have been 14 years in the viper. i would love to have it in DCS.

that beeing said, as long as no viper alternative is there, BMS is far from dead end state. will there be a viper in DCS? i truely believe so, but WHEN is another question. eventualy someone, ED or partners will do it, as long as a licence is not ruining every buisnes calculation, and that, beside time, would be my guess why it hasnt been done yet.

anyway, the hornet is coming, and with that i'm very happy and occupied until a viper is on final approach some day ;)

in the end, this is the wish list thread, so lets have some more wishes ;)

regards and happy flying,

RR

DCS: Black Shark Update: 09 July 2008

As for what happens after Black Shark, the team has several aircraft modules currently in development (this could include development of 6 DOF cockpits, avionics or flight dynamics). While the A-10A Suite 2 module will still likely follow the Black Shark, the following aircraft are also now planned for DCS in development at one stage or another:

1- A-10A Suite 2 (latest version of A-10A in active use)

2- A-10C Suite 3 (we now able to develop an entertainment version of the simulation we developed for them. We are very happy and excited about this).

3- AH-64A Blk. 49A

4- Su-27

5- F-15C

6- Mi-24V

7- F-16C

8- MiG-29A

Thanks,

Matt

I would hardly count the carry overs from Lock On.

There won't be a DCS:f16 and whenever you make a post about it it gets buried deep within this never ending rats nest of a thread

Thanks negative Nancy, but many of us still have high hopes that we'll have a F-16 soon.
