I don't care, both will be great, carrier operation, no afterburner but a lot of kick ass brute power and a lot of air ground possibility, no gun, no AA missile for defense, fight against dangerous and deadly SAM, you need to know how to really fight for survive !

True old school where you carry a lot of bombs cause you have a lot of objectives and cause you don't have PGM that almost never miss.

Flight low and fast to avoid detection, strike fast and prey !

I would pay a good 80€ instantly for a multicrewable A6 (any would do but B or better is welcome) .

I'm up to 80€ because standard would have to be top class with documentation and such.

That's the one of three things I want more than a Viper...

 

F-4E or G. Preferably a G,

an A-1H Skyraider,

an AH-1G Cobra,

and an O-2A Skymaster

 

 

These would be great along side the Huey. Oh, and a Nam map. :thumbup:

 

Ironically enough, BST's website lists the AH-1G as one of their aircraft. With their tempo of delivering products, I would suspect the Cobra isn't too far out.

I want the F/A-18C and I'm very glad it's what ED went with developing. In terms of gameplay variety, very few aircraft can bring as much to the table as the Hornet can. No shortage of mission possibilities which is a bonus for replayability.

 

• Variety of operators? US Navy, US Marines, Canada, Spain, Australia, Finland, Kuwait, Switzerland. Check. I guess 2 of those are neutral, though most operations in DCS are set in alternate histories anyway.
  
• Runway landings? Carrier landings? Both check.
  
• BVR missiles? WVR missiles? Anti-ship missiles? Cruise missiles? Anti-radiation missiles? Dumb bombs? Smart bombs? Cluster bombs? Rockets? Guns? Check check check and check.
  
• Strike? Interception? Recon? CAS? CAP? SEAD? Air refuelling? Airshows? All check.
  

It's largely unclassified so you can make a very accurate and complete simulation in it, unlike a lot of modern multi-role aircraft. It'll be an instant purchase for me.

 

I also wouldn't mind an F-4E/J/S to act as the MiG-21's nemesis. Or the F-4G Wild Weasel for dedicated SEAD action. The F-5E would be great too since it's basically the Western equivelant of the MiG-21 and also a good match up, if lacking for historical significance.

A4 or the A6 once we have a Carrier updated would be absolutely mint.

 

Anything too current would be too hard to get accurate surely?

F-18 all the way : If you need to do a sead far away in ennemy territory or take a sam down, it is a must. Such roles are monopolised by AIs (which fails 90% of the time because they jettinson every thing) as you saw if you played the F-15 campaing.

The modern tech is most likely the reason. So much of the cockpit and systems are still secret.

Too much classified information to make a DCS-level sim out of.

 

And it would utterly annihilate everything in the sky unless the difference in pilot skill levels was rather huge.
