Squid_DK Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I know this is very early in the proces, but I was just wondering if I should consider purchasing some stocks in a papermill and the printer cartridge industry, not to mention if is should hoard some extra cash for the manual. nemises Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 The Black Shark printed manual was an after market experiment. I expect that something similar would be done for the A10 IF the black shark printed manual was a financial success. If it wasn't, then probably not :)
Nate--IRL-- Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Well the Printed FC2 manual is currently sold out until July, so it seems to me that the manuals do sell. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Maximus Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I bet it going to be thick like Blackshark manual! Maximus, The only real Maximus in DCS World. :music_whistling: I am not associated to viper 33 | Maximus. he is the imposter.
HitchHikingFlatlander Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I can't imagine they wouldn't be doing a manual Lock On had one, Flaming Cliffs had one, FC2 had one and so did Black Shark. Not sure ED put out the LOMAC/FC1 manuals. http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Bwaze Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Since manuals are printed black & white only I think I can have it printed and bound locally. I don't think I will want to wait for an official version. :)
Eddie Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I'd buy two. One to cover in highligher and notes and the other to keep nice and clean. :D

Slayer Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I bought the Blackshark manual from Amazon(some guy named Wags) and hope to be able to buy one for DCS:A10c. Very happy with the spiral bound one they put out. The old Falcon 3 ring binder was good but after a lot of use the pages start to tear out so I like the 3 spiral bound better I think. My only other wish is that they would add the colored tabs for the different sections. CAT_101st Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 If they make the manual like the Jane's manual's were made I would buy them all as well. 33 309th_Hedgehog Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I will buy it. But only if it's in colour. It was so disappointing to receive a b&w Black Shark manual. Now I use my self printed version again :( The problem is that colour printing is twice the cost of black&white, and we feel that it would be too expensive for many users. Having problems? What would the viability of a sort of 'Pre-Order' system be? In other words, a thread is started for those interested in a colour manual. By posting/requesting, you are essentially committing to purchase. Might even be prudent to require a nominal non-refundable deposit. Once a number (20) is obtained, a batch is printed and dispatched at the payment of the relevant price. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Its actually 3 times the cost of B&W to make it colour. But many of us are willing to PAY for it. With the right marketing strategy it won't burden your company. I would explain why but you already know. Anyhow... If ED decides to make the DCS:A-10C manual in colour (and in perfect binding - crossing fingers:P) many of us are willing to pay.
