lol how are we supposed to know what will work well for EDGE when nobody has it yet? The testers are staying pretty tight lipped also so who exactly are you asking? :music_whistling:

 

if can base on some current resource-heavy-consuming games: e.g. the new order, far cry 4, etc.

Still a chance, this is from the 109 update earlier today. Of coarse this may just be unedited recycled info about DCS world.

DCS World includes a vast mission area of the Caucasus region that encompasses much of Georgia - the location of the 2008 conflict. Further maps will be available in 2014.

 

If I had to guess I'd say that the Dec. 3rd update should have some juicy info, normally they kinda just show up in my in box. Only the really good ones get ETAs

Why not, there are tons of normal (bump) maps being used in DCS already...
