Well actually .... lets say we ignore FC2 for a sec and focus only on the DCS series then the speeds of both planes are kinda the same P-51D Maximum speed: 437 mph (703 km/h) at 25,000 ft (7,600 m) A-10C Maximum speed: 381 knots (439 mph, 706 km/h) at sea level, clean[88] Now I know the differnce in height etc but still these things are both at the same speed ratings.
