Has something changed in deployment of the drag chute... the two times I tried to use it it didn't work... seems like the chute opened but broke of instantly due to high speed... second time I deployed it wa at 200km/h which was slow enough in FC2, has this max speed to deploy drag chute changed?

No - just deployed at 260 and all good. Make sure throttles are at idle though, otherwise it'll just get blown off.

My rule of thumb has always been 290km/h max for chute.

yup... I did just like I always do... before I didn't open the chute above 250km/h, and now it doesn't work even with lower speed... the throtle is idle definitely. I think possibly the switch "clicks" twice quickly making chute open then disconnect at the same time... I'll check next one in externals

Yup, it was me, mapped the wrong switch and I must have been flipping it thinking chute didn't work... all good now :)

Excellent news! Thanks ED. True, it's hard to go back to LOMAC level of simulation after playing the DCS modules, but the Su-25 is one of my favourite aircraft and I'm so glad it's back! Can't wait for those MP missions Toads+Sharks!

Has there been any optimizations to graphics, etc or is it the same as FC2, just ported over to DCS World. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I just ran server with Su-22, Su-24, Su-25TM and so on..... and it worked :D

Without any changes of old mission, good to see compability.

It runs quite slow relatiive to the a-10 with the targeting display active. Otherwise it's the frog I remember.

Uf... was sceptical about all this World/Mustang stuff... but, downloaded and flew the SU-25T for a while, and guess what??!? I just couldn't get enough of it... ha ha... this is going to be fun, good work ED, damn fine work after all this silence and waiting... :thumbup:

look at the names. it's not a10 and su-25t, blackshark 2 and frogfoot, it's dcs:world. be glad it comes with free plane to fly.

Can some one tell me why the vikers are not firing when I have all parameters met?

 

TV on Vikers selected, Laser on , target locked LA is on but nothing coming off the rails when weapons fired.

 

DCS World SU25t that is, it's working in FC2 so I don't know. :joystick:

 

You DO NOT have to turn the laser on when firing a Vicker in the Su25T. You can however turn it on and off rapidly to rapid fire Vickers (for some reason it removes the cooldown timer).
