IMHO ah-64a, ah-1w and mi-24 are the most feasible.

ah-64d maybe is too new to have it accurate.

As an italian I'd like to see the a129 but I think it's too niche.

I vote for the apache, the fair compromise between super cobra and longbow.

A black hawk or a sea stallion also would be nice.

Hi Folks,

OK stick with me here, the R22. Why? because For those who are going through heli training, the only R22 available in any sim worth taking a look, is in FSX which is out of date and the physics are pretty bad. It would be great for me and possibly others to have a realistic chopper trainer, akin to the plane trainer, the Yak. Although I am aware that it's Digital Combat Simulator, not Civilian Trainer Simulator!

There are a few armies that use the R22:https://www.airliners.net/photo/Dominican-Republic-Army/Robinson-R-22-Beta-II/589681 though.

I would certainly buy the module to familiarize myself with the controls for check rides in real life. I recently took a few hours flight instruction in an R22 and was hovering, albeit not perfectly, after two hours. I would put that down to DCS and using the Huey. It really helped me understand the more complex anti-torque flight dynamics/etc.

Anyone else out there accumulating their heli hours in a Robinson R22, that feel the same way?

A modern utility helicopter, and successor to the UH1 Family in US military service.

UH60L blackhawk. Prime USer US Army, with this Variant being one of the most proliferated derivatives abroad in export of the Blackhawk family.

or if possible the MH60S Knighthawk, which would be quite fitting for Naval & amphibious Operations alike, and would offer glass pit unlike the Uh60L.
