Cowboy10uk Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hammer to forehead level hint: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1486593&postcount=24 Hey Wags, please don't think I'm complaining I'm not. These aircraft are stunning, and yes I'm pretty sure we have more surprises to come, including Helis. That said, us rotary pilots are just making sure we don't get forgotten. ;) Keep up the stunning work. DCS is fast becoming the battlefield simmers dream. joey45 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 There is only ONE airframe I can see that I would be waiting for most of all from that quote in Cowboy10uk's post. neroroxxx Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 The announced 3rd party aircraft are only the ones that the developers have have decided to go public on. This hardly means that there are not other 3rd parties that have decided to not yet go public. We leave it up to the 3rd parties to announce their intents, it is not up to TFC/Eagle. Nero 27" iMac, 3.4GHz i7 Quad Core, 16GB Ram, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2Gb, Running Bootcamp, Windows 7 Home 64bit, Saitek X-52 Pro
Weltensegler Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Now that we're gonna have a F/A-18 I really hope ED changed their "US fast jet" to a Su-27 or even better, Su-35. Then my life would be fulfilled and I can quit work and do Cobras all day long :) No freakin' way! ED will do theirs with the AFM most likely! superbug is nice but if we can have the high fidelity or both .... 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274

Eddie Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 There is only ONE airframe I can see that I would be waiting for most of all from that quote in Cowboy10uk's post. Let me guess, it's the one that has to fly straight and level until the earth curves away from it in order to climb?

SUBS17 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Wow what an awesome list of addon aircraft, I hope the F-14 and T38A are DCS level as well. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Nate--IRL-- Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Wow what an awesome list of addon aircraft, I hope the F-14 and T38A are DCS level as well. AFAIK they will not be - but the true level of detail has yet to be published by IRIS, I would suspect it will be more detailed than FC2 aircraft, but that is only a guess. Fox One Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Cant have a forum with out a good healthy serving of speculation :) But you should add the F-18C to your possible DCS:Next guess because of this: http://who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain=f-18c.com&prog_id=GoDaddy Also, about 2 years ago (I guess) there was a topic started by ED searching for high-res US carriers pictures ... :smilewink: And I would also add that: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1482499&postcount=75 My DCS videos
Bucic Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I really hope competition spirit will kick in and at least one 3rd party addon will sport AFM, calling other 3rd parties 'arcade developers' :sly: F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
Pyroflash Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) I really hope competition spirit will kick in and at least one 3rd party addon will sport AFM, calling other 3rd parties 'arcade developers' :sly: MiG-21 has already confirmed that it will be some sort of AFM, though it is unknown at the moment exactly how much detail it will pan out to include. From what I am hearing however, it is looking to be just as good as A-10C's, with a few things that might not be included in the package for unknown reasons (One thing that was cited was there is a real world time limit on the ChR (Afterburner) that may or may not be modeled). badger66 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) Cant understand why anyone is bothering with a T-38 or a Buckeye !!! Possibily you could muck about with the 38 and und up with an F5 , but I cant undeerstand why , plus , all the new stuff is for Allied and not Russia or Warsaw pact . Seens uneven to me . Whose going to do a Mig-23 or Mig-27 or an SU-22 ..... Tornado , Jaguar , Mirage 2000 , Mirage F1 ..... Rafaele , Thunderchief , A-6 , A-7 ..... But a Buckeye , lmfao !!! Edited June 20, 2012 by badger66
Pikey Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 However it begs the promise that a Russian airframe is going to sell like hotcakes, and where there is money to be made....there are people making it. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

gunterlund21 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Well all of these announcements of aircraft wont mean didly without advanced avioniics and systems. Otherwise you might as just well play FSX. You going to pay to fly a trainer? I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!
HiJack Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 With all the anounced flyables it is just nessesary for ED to ad some sort of information on what flyables is on a MP mission when you "click" on the server in server browser. I see a lot of ppl going from server to server and don't find the aircraft they want to fly now. (HJ)
BKLronin Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 F-18 blabla, f14 bla, mig 21 this and that. Every Thread the same. :P Get us a chopper! or aren't there any teams out there that can handle those fine pieces of whirling art? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

EtherealN Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 You going to pay to fly a trainer? If you mean to learn the way a real fighter pilot learned his trade, yes. Personally I love that thought.
