Vampyre Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Looks like a nice little helo. As for a storm... its clear and a million here. I'm thinking two weeks for sure!:music_whistling: Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. Aginor Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Does it support FFB on release day? -=zerO=- Ooh, I'd like to know that, too. Helicopter flying is so much cooler with FFB. In jets I don't care that much, but in helis.... :) DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
King_Hrothgar Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Thanks for the quick startup tutorial. I know I'm being greedy here, but any chance we can get a quick missile tutorial to go with it? :)

microvax Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Thrilled to see the impacts coming closer, with the quick start video yesterday. One question though, tbh two. [EDIT: three ;)] Am I correct, assuming the sight is daylight only ? And which magnification levels, if variable at all, does the sight feature ? Can you manually put in coordinates into the NAV, and if so, which format ? Really looking forward to fly that thing and the flying tiger afterwards. :pilotfly: thx for the effort of answering my questions. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?

TomOnSteam Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 that looks fantastic! Is it going to be multi-crew multiplayer capable on release? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cockpit Spectator Mode

TomCatMucDe Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Disregard my past message. I hear the hype train coming. :P Hehe I was going to write the same. But the train has still some way to go, no shorter than a week.
Aginor Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 that looks fantastic! Is it going to be multi-crew multiplayer capable on release? That would blow my mind! I would expect it to work like they Huey for now, but who knows? :) DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
kobac Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 It would be good if you (PCS) provided possibility to change various equipment over the payload panel, such as, for example, filter against the sand if you are flying in the desert, or a noise protector, etc. I think you'll have to little trimm the sound. Because at high angles of attack main rotor at a speed of about 150 km/h and higher g-load blades makes a rattling (throbbing) noise. If I said correctly. I apologize to my English, I don't know the appropriate term. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
Aginor Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Oh, that reminds me: Will there be a version without the targeting system? For just flying around the Gazelle looks even better without the blocky thing on the roof. :D DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
flying rabbit Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 This looks really solid. The gazelle will be a nice addition to my hangar. :) I just cant wait to fly it myself.
CrimsonGhost Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Did anyone notice the lack of engine/rotor noise after start up in the last video? Maybe it was just on my end, but I could not hear a thing. But again, here is my weekly plea for release of this bird. Looks to have a lot of potential as a fast scout chopper and I'm ready for my repeated crashes until I get it right. i7-7700K @ 5.2Ghz SLI 1080Ti 64GB GSkill Trident Z RGB 4133 Asus Maximus IX Extreme Custom Water Cooling Loop TM Warthog/ MFG Crosswind
Frusheen Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 (edited) Does it support FFB on release day? -=zerO=- Sorry for going off topic but can I ask what is the benefit of this? Helicopter cyclics don't have any forces of note. If anything you want zero force on the stick i.e no spring centre. Before getting my current setup I used to remove the power from my old ffb2 when flying helicopters so it wouldn't try and recentre. Do you mean a kind of pseudo force trim? Or to mimic the G-limiter on the gazelle? Darkwolf Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 as far as i understand, FFB stick doesn't center but keeps center on trim position. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
