It's the community that delayed FC3. So stop whining.

There are tons of developers that don't listen to the customers. You can whine on their forums if you have a need to whine. We demanded features, ED is polishing. And developing new features take time. Simple as that.

 

pls no more "Stop whining" posts again.

It is not about certain information, it is about the simple thing to give an official statement about the availability of those videos, and may be a little further information regarding the development process of FC3, whether it still takes some time or might be available soon. That is pretty important to avoid right those posts and keep the community posted, no more and no less.

This is actually a minimum what the community can expect in this matter...a decent and proper communication politics and not always this back and forth regarding FC3...

 

The community was turmoiled once already with the release announcement and later with the delay announcement. And now a third time where the community seems keep left alone and confused, it is simply not fair. Talk to us.

 

I don't understand this at all. Seems a totally redundant request.

 

So you are upset there has been no official statement regarding the release of old training videos simply renamed for FC3? Come on, surely you have more important things in life to get upset about.

 

And regarding the development of FC3, Wags put out a statement that it was delayed as they were adding more content, he gave no release date, what is there to add? Just have some patience, it will obviously be released as soon as possible, that is what they want and what we want.

 

And please don't talk for the community as a whole, because your views certainly don't represent me and I'm sure others.

Im fully with you on this matter, but if you look in this thread, in the past, ED never mentioned more than "Nothing has changed" / "Were woking on new features/bugs which takes more time" etc..

 

So, dont expect to get that more info till its out...there has already been a fiery discussion about this last week, but the outcome was

Thanks for agreeing in the first place. I think you nontheless missunderstood my intentions a little. I havent spoken of any other information of FC3, because it is as you said. Given statements are as they are (Bugs / features etc.). I am only speaking of the videos and an actually needed information behind these videos. It should have been clear for ED that the release of those videos, would cause a further discussion like this. But they didnt said anythings nontheless, and that is what makes me mad.

 

I have but a fully understanding for ED and it´s buisness strategics, but sometimes i simply cant agree with them, this is such a moment

May be you´re right, and yes, absolutely no DCS World Standart. I dl the first Video (Fighter Weapon School) I thought it would offer a sneap peak for the F-15C:music_whistling: (because of the image which represents the Video), but all I got to see was FC2 like A-10A, Mig-29 and SU25 Vids. No offense, It´s a lot of work to do and it definately worth for new players, but for me it was dissapointing

That's because they are getting ready to release FC3. The training videos are there for people to download beforehand so that once its released, you don't have spend so much time downloading files(that's if you need the training videos). If you try to do the training missions without the full version of files that FC3 will come with, its going to fail miserably, as in your case :D

 

I am waiting impatiently like everyone else. C'mon FC3 let me have my MIG-29 :pilotfly:
