When I make MP missions I place the aircraft at the airfield, give it way points then click on the aircraft, Lctrl+c and then Lctrl+v and it duplicates exactly including the way points right next to the original aircraft provided there is space at that airfield (if takeoff from ramp is selected).

 

All you have to do then is change the call signs and aircraft name... saves loads of time ;)

 

no the problem is when I use it as a client, no one can pick the aircraft. its stuck as the main #1 pilot and aircraft not sure whats causing it to lock that aircraft. If I build a new one from scratch its client usable.

tried that its not saving for any one to pick it, it just lets you think you pick it it shows you pick it but then when you hit fly, your F2 view of an enemy aircraft.

I just detected a bug with the FPM in the F-15C. I had intercepted ILS glideslope on final approach and put my speedbrakes on in order to slow down (then used throttle to fly AoA). The last moments of the flight, I fell below glideslope and crashed just short of the runway threshold. However, the FPM indicated level flight and was superimposed with the ILS cross at the time of impact, whereas it should have dropped below the HUD as soon as my AoA increased beyond what could be displayed on the HUD (maintaining 8-10 degrees nose up). The entire time, the FPM and waterline were indicating about 10 degrees AoA, even when I dropped below stall speed and at the point of impact.

 

The trk is corrupted, but I have included a link to the TacView ACMI. Just fast forward to the very end and view the ACMI in HUD mode; the FPM and waterline indications were as I saw them in game, even as the airspeed drops below stall speed.

 

home frys I have been having that same issue, I even stated there is an AOA problem with the F15C but everyone keeps saying there isn't!

Anybody reported the HSI not being correct with the heading on the HUD of the SU-25T even after letting it align for a minute or two before turning on the engines? It also seems to degrade over time. If you were to restart in the same server, and do everything exactly the same, the next time, it would work better or worse than last time. Some gremlin stuck in the instrument panel playing with magnets me thinks...

Not sure if it's been reported, but our latest flight from the Admiral Kuznetsov only let the Host rearm and refuel, the others didn't get anything. Not sure if this is related to the Admiral Kuznetsov ATC bug...

 

 

Problem on your side. Did you turn engines of? Did you warp? On a laggy Server, where the server permanently thinks you are in motion, you wont get anything. We experienced this also. But under stable conditions we could load many su33 simultaneously on the carrier. So try to reduce the probability of warps. Warps occure if there are many planes flying and they get worse if they are shooting missiles (also sam raise the probability)

Thats because the paths and fm of the missiles and the same things for the planes must be sent to the server and all clients at the same time. The current netcode doesnt get this handled well, therefore the game makes guesses and predicts where everyone will be if there is no movement. But because there is, you might end with planes climbing from 0 to 10km in one second (which kills your radarlock on top of all)

 

Maybe this will eventually be resolved, if they can optimise the datapackages transmitted between clients and server but the current problems are experienced since loconrelease in the early 2000s.

 

But back to topic, it is possible to rearm a whole flight on the carrier, if their engines are turned off.

No it's not I'm afraid, not as the client anyway.

 

The team are aware of this bug and are working hard to fix it.

Airfield?

Senaki Rwy 09.

 

You don't need an airfield to replicate this bug. Just take the F-15 to altitude, pitch up, and cut the throttle. You will see your airspeed and altitude drop, but your FPM will never go below the HUD and it will indicate that you should be climbing.

Viper, I found out on DCS World with the Su-25T can now use the missiles Kh-58 and Kh-25MPU vs the Shilka, the German Gepard and German Roland EWR! On FC2 was not possible.:thumbup:

 

But why I can not even engage in other types of EWR?:(

 

The M-163 Vulcan is equipped with radar. Why the RWR of the Su-25T does not detect it?

Why the Fantasmagoria Pod of the Su-25T does not detect it?

I just found out that Roland EWR on FC2 is not a EWR. Was erroneously called Roland EWR! On DCS World the same vehicle is called Roland Radar. Sorry!

And concerning the SPO, would it be possible to have it to work as the real one's description in the SU-27 SK flight manual?

 

Be a Gentleman and list the current deficiencies and I'll see what I can do. I cannot read the Russian .pdf and do not trust an online translator at all :)

Oh, Ok, my mistake. I thought it was better for you to send a russian original copy of the flight manual.

I'll send you ASAP an english translation of this part.

To make it short: it gives generally a more precise information (in particular in the front side area) concerning the position and the type of threat. But it is also very sensitive to the jamming ECM device, making it unrelyable when jammer is operative on the SU-27. So it is necessary to switch of the ECM to have a relyable SPO information.

I believe I may have found a problem with the Su27 damage model during our last MP event. A Su27 which was turning into an enemy A10 got hit by Aim9 missile. The missile exploded not doing ANY damage at all and the plane was fully functional.

 

 

This got me curious whether it was an accident or a hitbox issue and I was able to replicate similar missile explosion conditions by toying around in the editor.

 

 

What seems to be the case is that if the missile explodes slightly in front of center of mass, more or less below the cockpit, the plane suffers no damage at all besides some minor decals on the wings. It seems to be a hitbox issue because I don't believe it's intentional for the plane to suffer no harm at all from an Aim9 which hit like that.

 

 

I was so far unable to replicate the effect on any other plane or in different hit conditions. I can't say if that only applies to SU27 or all lower fidelity aircraft. I also can't say for sure whether it's only Aim9 but R73 seems to be a better missile in this regard.

A10A the elevators do not translate animation wise down. you only see the them up. and middle.:music_whistling:

MiG-29S Stall freeze

 

VERSION 1.2.3: Just testing some BFM on the MiG-29S and found the stall to freeze in mid air just before tipping over. Can someone check this track and maby do a test of their own to confirm?
