QuiGon
Thats pretty sweet, looks like they might even be using something like a simplified Johnson Criteria for AI spotting. But the Mi-8, and huey were supposed to have this too I thought. No, the Huey and Hip were only intended to have a very rudimentary gunnery ai, which they have. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! Sephyrius
No, the Huey and Hip were only intended to have a very rudimentary gunnery ai, which they have. Then again, implementing it to them would go a bit towards "sorry for multicrew being 5+ years late". If its not too big of a task.

It's going to require a complete overhaul for each aircraft it's used in anyway. Coxy_99
F-14 is the same as the L-39 (Even the doomed hawk) You was technically not sharing the same space in multi crew (Like the gazelle) It a work around ED need to come up with. With F-14 the pilot and rio is separated same as L-39 hence why it works.

With F-14 the pilot and rio is separated same as L-39 hence why it works.I keep hearing this reasoning tossed around, but in my mind it doesn't add up. The Gazelle, for example, is technically "one pit" however it's cut in half just like the F 14 or L-39. The pilot uses some controls, the weapons operator others. Personally I think the back end for multicrew is there and totally functional, I think it's more incumbent on the third parties to update/utilize those abilities. Control bindings may be more challenging, but the click zones seem to work... Indeed, and I think the direction ED is going with the Hind is a little different, so its possible ED can do an API version that can be more easily transferred if a 3rd Party so decided. Sephyrius
The "!!! UPDATES !!!" thread being just a few more model shots with no actual news was kind of a bummer. Still waiting on any word on if there's any time frame and who this mystery 3rd party dev collaborator is. The rest is pretty much just fluff. Derk
And thank you for sticking with it and keeping us posted! The fact that you also have a life and family to support while doing this is easily overlooked unfortunately. I can only begin to imagine some of your frustrations on this journey. I guess many of the forum members around have followed your journey through the valley's of darkness for quite a while and know very well, how much time and effort you put into the project. I can only imagine how much energy it must have cost you, to stick with your work of love through the times with the Company split, until you found a new home for the baby, that the BO-105 must be to you. Whenever you're ready! Instant buy, buddy. Halt die Ohren steif, Olli. CajunJosh
So Fragger I'm curious. You obviously have a dedication this project that is quite impressive. This helicopter looks like it has been in development in some form.or fashion since at least 2014. She's not exactly my cup of tea but Id certainly purchase it just to show support to anyone giving the rotor head community some love. Y question is do you have the ability with enough time to bring this to DCS alone or will you eventually have to find some help with code or art? Additionally - I already "have" a 3rd party which will finish the BO.
