it's in the weapons tab I believe in the options.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Lowering the glass is usefull for CCIP and CCRP bombing as you can see your reticle sooner. It is also usefull for long range unguided rocket or guided missile delivery!

I had the same issue when the 6DOF pit first came out. I had to delete the SU25 Keyboard.LUA in my saved games folder. Once done re start the sim and the new commands will be there and a new keyboard.lua will be built in your saved games folder.

As a rule for bombs/cbu etc combining glass all the way down, for guns/rockets all the way up.

That the little safety lockout on the full flaps switch is modelled and animated

Unfortunately it's not modeled on my HOTAS

The Su-25 with 6DOF, cockpit shadows and the adjustable prism glass is freakin' awesome! Incredible sim fun! I'm an absolute fan of all those classic dial instruments. And then the way it flies! This is really Bullseye ED!

Looks like I can't assign any different keys or stick button to Raise or Lower ASP-17 Glass. Other than keyboard command cell, other cells aren't selectable and if I clear the default assignment I can't replace it with anything.

Just got a question. When you press 8 you get a "thing" om the hud. What is that? :)
That's for manual targetting for when your HUD is damaged. I've never used it and am not really sure how. Pressing 8 again turns it off I believe.

Standby reticle. In case your main fails.

I'm a bit suss of that raise/lower ASP17 (sight glass) function.

I lowered the glass all the way, then when I attacked some targets with S25 missiles they both landed short. One by a couple of metres and one by about 50 or so metres. Not even any damage to the targets.

Might not be connected but it hasn't happened before, although the laser point was not staying exactly where I'd locked it (on the vehicle) either - but each time it started moving I relocked it.

btw guys, I'm flying the Revanche campaign again - it was adjusted to fit FC3 now - you can get it from the DCS downloads section. Apart from 2 training missions in the 25T it's all 25A stuff - well all the ones I've flown are :)

S25's generally land short anyway. I tend to think of them as giant, fat sausages with tiny little rocket motors at the back. That way you imagine them desperately struggling to make the target.....and aim higher :)

Track?

What is your speed and your dive angle? Acute your dive angle is to the ground, the more your rockets will stray from the projected impact point.

I would suggest trying a steeper dive angle to increase your accuracy.
