  1. Past hour
  2. No, sorry, I only have the 8 standard liveries that came with the Mod.
  3. Lately I often read the suggestion "Windows 10 will be EOL Oct 14th 2025. Upgrade to Windows 11", for a lot of valid reasons I have no intentions of enabling TPM and use a online account just to downgrade to W10+1, my question is: will DCS continue to run and receive updates on W10 machines in the following 2-3 years? Best regards.
  4. If you are seeing it a lot, it should be something easy to reproduce in single player. The reason I ask for a track as I am not seeing it reported by our Team, Testers or QA. I am not sure that would help the flow of combat very well. And we know that real-world mistakes do happen.
  5. Hmm... yeah, that's possible. I'm not at my home PC right now, but I'll check my scripts tonight and see if that's what's going on. I'll report back and let you know if that's what was going on. Thanks for the clarification and the quick response, @Flappie. Much appreciated.
  6. Thanks for that! You were spot on. I was unaware there was a main download and a patch required.
  7. Aufrüsten du musst! Eine bessere CPU du erst brauchst! Mit neum Mutterschiff schnelleren RAM du verbauen kannst. Erst dann die Macht zu einem neuen Headset dich führen wird.
  8. Sometimes a mission could be briefed with TOTs and such in local time, but as converting between local and Zulu is fairly straightforward, in-cockpit clocks would typically be set to Zulu.
  9. Thanks, but works for me. These are mk.6 (single seat). Do you have some more as well for the Tmk68 (dual seat)?
  10. It's been one of the most difficult builds I have ever had since the 1980s. It's all down to the combo of Win11 & Nvidia driver, a 9950X3D + RTX5080 build. It's not unheard of to have to reinstall the OS multiple times for a build, and I had a share of them. The difficulty this time is that it just crashes without leaving an OS event, except a dump. Now, unless you are an MS Windows engineer with access to their source code, which some of my neighbors probably do, the dump file is useless to us. So, I am reverted back to Asus motherboard QCode and guess. The blank screen randomly, even with the latest Nvidia driver just released 2 days ago didn't help. In fact, the latest just crashed the OS. Hell... the damned Nvidia App crashed the OS while installing the latest GAME READY driver! And then the OSD wouldn't work, etc. etc. There were even an AMD and ITEC USB update failed to install, etc..... until I did the Window cumulative update twice! So, somethings got patched once, and twice, and the order of the patches/drivers installation matters! WTF??? I have never seen crap like this since the 80's! I have finally stabilized it... but it's been a shooting in the blind affair.... and I don't like that. Anyway, if you are going this way, I advise that you install Win11, patch everything to the gill, and install "all other" drivers before you do the Nvidia thing. Some of you might argue that this is the "right" order of installation... not really... depending on how you get here. In the olden days of Windows installation leaving you with default 640x480 VGA resolution, and some of their stupid pop up dialog box were longer than 480 pixels... the very first thing you do after the OS is up is to install new gfx drivers so you can see the dialog boxes' entirety! Plus, usually the gfx driver was the least troublesome one to install. I mean, it has to work, or you see nothing and nothing can be done... until recently that is.
  11. Might or might not (he's a subcontractor after all, not an employee), but he didn't seem to get the memo as to what @BIGNEWY's post above had just restated. Nothing I wrote is speculation, much less nonsense. Between the timing and Zambrano's statements, it's hard to conclude that either "positive waves" are nowhere near their list or priorities, or they're so incompetent at PR that their attempts at creating them are actually generating the exact opposite. Or both (Ron in particular seems a likely candidate for a "I suck at PR and I don't care" attitude).
  12. More work, this won't be as extensive as the previous splinter scheme, so it'll take less time today, and maybe tomorrow as well.
  13. 1.The original APG-68(v)5 seemed to have been with the Viper since the 90s. Did USAF ever upgrade the radar of their F-16 fleet? If they did, when?(To my knowledge the HAF received APG-68(v)9 circa 2009 while USAF was still on v5, not sure whether they got v7) 2.Up to 6 AIM-120s can be carried on the Viper, is the APG-68 capable of guiding all 6 simultaneously? 3.Did USAF pilots often complain about their underperforming v5 radar?
  14. There is no other at the moment on the map? Im not familiar with Germany yet so im asking because I have been wondering.
  15. Yeah I find the phenomenon of shiny screens to be about the dumbest thing ever done to TVs (a tie with soap opera refresh rates). It makes them into a giant mirror and is just super distracting. It’s just done to make them more appealing in showrooms since it makes the blacks appear darker. Fortunately monitors seem to universally have matte screens. The LG OLED mentioned above has a matte screen. Another contributor to its 10/10 score IMO
  16. I'll typically start with an aircraft (F2) or ground unit (F7) view then jump to free camera (F11) and adjust the height and direction and speed so I can watch its behavior from a good angle. If I jump to a different ground unit to quickly check its status or position but want to return to my previous F11 map to observe the original unit I have to start all over selecting F2 / F7, then F11 then making the same height, direction and speed adjustments. Is there a way to return to the previous (adjusted) F11 view?
  17. Today
  18. Hope that answers your question
  19. Will the wing angle manually changeable?
  20. DCS Encyclopedia requires a different entry that the units you can see in ME. What I am trying to say is that is not relevant to look in Encyclopedia to find what is new/changed etc ... in general i mean, not only for mods.
  21. The folder you are showing there lacks the ImagesGUI and Encyclopedia folder, which makes me believe that you did not replace the base pack files with the patch files. Or you have the base pack and patch separately in your tech folder, which would be wrong. 1. Download the base pack and place it in the tech folder. 2. Download the patch, drag and drop the contents into the base pack, and replace the files when prompted. If done correctly and there are no conflicts with other mods, all units should show up in the Mission Editor. The historical filter/mode should be off as well.
  22. A Pix of my C2 setup....
  23. Hi ! Like always thanks @Reflected for this great campaign I have a noob question here : in mission 2 we have to intercept a bomber convoy with p51 escort. In good practice should i focus on bomber or the escort at the start of the fight ? Thanks in advance !
  24. I have just finished the 4th mission, very good. Do you have the name of the song you put in the campaign ?
  25. Hi, that's an airframe with exellent maintenance quality award. Within the regiments, squadrons etc. there was a competition between maintenance crews keeping planes in a good condition in time. That means everything at 100%, cleanliness, no leakages, no leftovers from locking wire and cotter pins, no faults and failures and so on (you know what i mean). Only one airframe wihin the regiment get the award for one year...
