  3. Does that mean that the real airplane does not actually have a stick-pusher? Or does the 17kg of force get pulsed through the stick every time you reach AOA limit ?
  4. All of this is great advice! I just have one issue with both Polychop modules (Gazelle and Kiowa) in that there seems to be some kind of ground friction effect that actually makes it very hard to take off into a hover slowly. In the Kiowa in particular, it's possible to skid forward with full aft cyclic when there's just enough collective to keep the helicopter on the ground. In the Gazelle, it's a bit different, but the helicopter's controls still feel different as long as at least one skid is still in contact with the ground, compared to when it's truly airborne, even if just by half a foot. It's as if the flight model uses a different set of parameters. I don't observe this kind of behavior in any other DCS helicopter. So personally in both Gazelle and Kiowa, I get them light on the skids until they start to yaw, put in power pedal to stop the yaw, and them nudge them into the air with a good pull on the collective. An outside observer would see the helicopter jump into the air and then establish at 2, 3, 4ish feet. I wonder if this is what's throwing Tasky off? One easy way to share your progress with us is to do a short flight, demo your takeoff problems, and then after quitting the mission, hit "Save Track" and share that .trk file with us (maybe via Google Drive/OneDrive etc. if it's too big for the forum). That track recording allows us to virtually look over your shoulder and give some more specific advice.
  5. Возник вопрос по модулю, как задать частоты каналов 1, 2, 3, 4 и П в мультиплеере? В картридже ничего похожего нет? И ещё вопрос возник как так получается что на карте сирия (наверно и на других кроме кавказа) в картирдже нет ни одного РСБН маяка по при этом на этой же карте/миссии на 21ом мигаре есть РСБН на каждый аэродром? Понятное дело что в сирии нет РСБН, вопрос почему одному доступно, а другому нет? Наверно есть смысл привести к общему знаменателю.
  6. Hi, I just received the Pimax Super UWD (how to know if it's really this one?), but the IPD motor seems to be broken: it spins freely with a horrible noise and the IPD doesn't change. I sent an email to support. Other than that, what settings did you use in PimaxPlay for DCS? With a high end PC like 4090/5090? Thanks, Durei

  13. My DCS installation is suffering from massive stutters coming from CPU and I can't pinpoint the issue ... any recommendations appreciated! Situation PC is an AMD Ryzen 7600 X3D with 96GB RAM and GeForce 5080 PC is literally used only for DCS, ultra-fresh Win11 installation, DCS + plugins, few tools (Notepad++) nothing else My DCS setup is moderately complex with following plugins used: SimAppPro and full Winwing MIP DCS-BIOS for my simpit panels TrackIR In multiplayer, SRS Problem Description Many micro stutters and massive stutters in MP, especially when close to other objects (e.g. cold and dark on a carrier. ) Inbetween the stutters, if i do not limit FPS, theoretical FPS is 200+ .   15. Not sure if I understand correctly your questions. Let see how I proceed to create my flight DTC: first with the "POINT" tab I create points which will be "WAYPOINTS", "AIRDROMES" and "RSBN". Then I follow the tab order so The first 3 "POINTS" will be "WAYPOINTS", the next 3 "POINTS" will be "AIRDROME" and the last 3 "POINTS" "RSBN". After that "ROUTE" will be : WPT1(POINT1), WPT2(POINT2), WPT3POINT"), ARD1(POINT4). As far as I understand the navigation panel of the MIG29 can only accept 3 WPT , 3 A/D and 3 RSBN. Do I answer your question? At least I can create a flight like that

  17. Ракета полуактивная, а значит подсвет цели носителем никто не отменял. Это всего лишь означает, что ракета с 30 км начинает сама обрабатывать отраженный от цели сигнал и корректировать свою траекторию. А маневры уклонения можно с самого начала строить, главное не срывать захват. А если срыв захвата произошел, то и цель подсвечиваться перестала, и гсн уже ничего не скорректрует.
  18. Can't get it to work either. I can not tell yet, what it is, but I can confirm, the a_set_carrier_illumination_mode() does nothing when being run per script on the dedicated server. No error also, but no effect on the client. Looks like as if it is a desync, but if you use a trigger like the OP stated, it works.

  20. As TFS and I said earlier, with the Quest 3 and its pass-through technology, you can see the WinWing hardware via the headset's cameras and carry on using it. Then use the built-in hand tracking of the Quest 3 and Slugmouse for all the other switches that you haven't got a physical device for.
  21. Hi Thank you both for your time and input. there is a lot to consider here for me as you can see that waving goodbye to the hardware of 8 months ago is for me a big deal but if its worthwhile long-term then maybe thats where I am heading
  22. You also get used to the diamond, and while it's not correct currently in showing vertical gimbal offset, it is useful enough most of the time to help get eyes on target, and pretty helpful for cranking.

  24. I have RSBM on the map, but I control them using the chanells knob and manual selection. So in DTC, the first three positions will always be saved as three beacon presets (buttons 1-3) but not from the fourth onwards (4th and more). Do I understand correctly?
