  2. I noticed that also, but localizer and course is still present. PRMG works independently of RSBN and should not be issue when in final on runway. Once PRMG is established , RSBN is not needed. Most likely you are right about inability to hold both signals. In MiG-21Bis, signal can also be lost if you are flying low or obstructed. But not as frequent as in MiG-29A. But in my case both happened rarely.
  4. HI @Polonsky 1 What bingo fuel, holding pattern for own squad and decision altitude setting? No bingo fuel is given. The case 1 landing patterns are given and the stack height of 2000 feet is given under the flight plan under RTB, all on the kneeboard, also the flight plan heights between way points. 2 I have a suite of Campaigns starting with the free "Serpents Head" then "Serpents head 2" then this Campaign, "Rise of the Persian Lion" then "Rise of the Persian Lion2" and the last currently "Operation Green Line". The difficulty increasing through the campaigns. In this campaign as set out in the brief, " A lot of the communications are trigger based. Pilots will have to operate the radio for Carrier approaches and aerial refuelling." So in this campaign you do not need to worry about your wing, assume he is switching with you. The next Campaign ROPL2 you will have to operate the radios fully. The RTB instructions gave you the frequency plus also the instruction "Primary Push 2" so all you needed to do is select channel two on the Primary radio i.e. Comm 1. When you approached the ABE you did not get the Charlie signal to land so not sure why. Did notice though you were using Comm 2 in some instances? Have a look at Flying Kennys fly through. Also noted you did not have the ICLS active on the HSI or the Tacan boxed. Regarding to the coords. The audio will read them out and they will stay on screen for a period but then you have the option to call them back. They then will remain on screen until you press the space bar. You could also call them back even then using the message history system. Hope this helps.
  5. George's abilities have been tweaked and will continue to be tweaked to get him to act as realistically and as proficiently as possible. Sometimes it will have trouble locking certain targets due to object occlusion, range or other limitations. Make sure to stabilize the helicopter and offer him a clear view of the target area. If you feel it's still not working correctly, then please supply tracks (preferably simple, quick missions in Caucasus) of the conditions you set up that it won't engage.
  6. please include a track replay and a step by step guide to reproduce the issue thank you
  7. We also encountered this render limitation. So I would like to add a voice to this issue, as we can use and guide a SLAM-ER beyond the 50Nm mark. Not being able to see the targets via its seeker nullify the ability to do man in the loop guidance.
  8. Today
  9. please include a track replay and a step by step guide to reproduce the issue include a track replay example and your dcs log from the session. thank you
  10. Thank you very much happy51d! God grant you good health!
  11. Sorry, my cows only go by numbers, and they're all too afraid to jump down, so a fence is not necessary. And I really think you should share your work, you'll always have haters, unfortunately.
  12. Yes, I made the panel myself.
  13. this has been reported thank you
  14. Forgot to add a very important truck for our East German guys, the IFA truck, widely used in many variants and also widely exported cause it seems it had a very nice construction quality. Iraq used several hundred of them, and were in use during ODS. Iran used them also in great numbers, so it will be useful for both Cold War Germany map and Iraq map.
  15. One question, would be possible to create a very thin 3d model of a runway + taxiways/platform and paste over the current painted runway? IIRC that should have no real contact points and be asthetical only.
  16. I cannot find a 727 template, there's one? I will try myself.
  17. Indeed, but even with the switch on ALL, I have to push Trigger several time. It only drops a few clusters, not all. That's the problem.
  18. Have you remembered to swap the FFB axis for the Sidewinder in the FFB tuning in the Controls settings? Cheers!
  19. What have you chosen as the speaker setup in both Windows and DCS? I have a Yamaha too, but I use the optical output from the mainboard. Cheers!
  20. Thanks Ill try that. It has been working if I gently hold the stick sensor but today it just will not work no matter what I do. Even unplugged the Sidewinder and unbound it... BIT fails and fails.
  21. Да вы задолбали ))) почему то для летчиков лишняя кнопка это не проблема, никто и не думал об этом , а для геймеров это трагедия на три страницы форума . Сказали : жми ВЗЛЕТ - ну и жми взлет )))
  22. For interest sake. I now have the exact same MFD export and pass-through working on my Quest 3 using the exact same settings. However, the trick was to uncheck the in headset virtual desktop Streaming option for "Use Optimal Resolution"
  23. (I cant watch the track right now, but) A few things to consider: * approach the target from slightly below, do not get into a look-down attitude * approach the target from the side to increase its RCS, avoid head-on * avoid placing the target in front of mountains or other terrain from your viewpoint * do not place the target at a distance equal to your own altitude * if done right, expect to spot fighters at 10-20nm, maybe 22nm if you are good. large targets like bombers at 30nm-40nm. * if ur flying against typical DCS players that hug the ground, forget it. u wont get them on screen with a regular search * at visual ranges make use of the pilot controlled radar modes, for example BORESIGHT, allowing you to lock targets by putting them on your pipper * expectation management, this isnt a search radar. you need to know where the enemy is (awacs etc) and then optimize your position to get the bandit on screen. even in good circumstances, against fighters you will only have time to fire maybe a single missile until you are already in range for sidewinders and guns
  24. Двадцать девяты-ый не гермафродит. Просто в серию пошло то, что пошло.
