  3. I can't get this to work, I place the required units as specified, their location, heading, channel # etc, pick the same channel in cockpit but I still can't get landing bars to turn on... I don't know what I am doing wrong?
  4. Hi,I noticed that the RALT reading on the steam gauge doesn't match the reading on the HUD when using English cockpit with imperial unit. It works fine when using Russian cockpit with metrics unit though. Looks like the texture for RALT steam gauge is simply based on the GAF manual,but the needle's position is calibrated with the Russian cockpit,so there is a misalignment between them.   7. Does not, switch only controls what the guns do in OPT mode.
  8. For me, it shows up there even when you have CAS as the Tasking, but then after you select the B-21 it switches the tasking to Ground Attack.null
  9. Now 29 has only tactical speed brake (push switch in retracted position). But it also have usual one (aft switch position) If dev need I can tell where to read about it.null

  13. I love it. But using the most un charitable malfunctioned modeling of the SPO-15 with radar on really dampens my enthusiasm. IRST is great work. But the SPO-15…. Makes me sad when I have all these documents describing the blanking circuits between radar and SPO
  14. Hi guys, I implemented this better shutdown as suggested on vs 1.1. Rearrange a bunch of items and Included armament employment (except the TOSS mode). it is available on the MiG-29A Fulcrum Quick Checklist vs 1.1 on user files download page.   15. А я вот интереса ради попробовал против амраамов на сервере. Это вообще мой первый pvp бой был в DCS, я просто больше штурмовку люблю т.е. по сути новичок в этом. Пободаться против f16 тех же можно, хоть и ситуативно очень. Взлетел, отключил радар, на максимально малых высотках прижался к гористой местности. Наводился на соперника только по ДРЛО, в захват брал оптической системой чтоб у него не было предупреждений, в итоге ничего не подозревающий f16 поймал мою р73 - чел даже не понял что произошло. Видел есть еще варианты тактики кидаться р27эр с максимальных высот на гиперзвуке, тоже есть шанс что залетит. Но во всех этих тактиках есть главные условия, чтоб у тебя было наведение по ДРЛО и общая "загаженность" боевой обстановки, чтоб у противника было много отвлекающих факторов. В честном бою против носителя fox3 без шансов. Но в этом даже какой-то свой кайф есть, что переиграл "систему". PS: wartunder хоть аркадка аркадкой, но главным принципам тактики как успешно бороться против fox3 надрессирован был именно оттуда.

  18. Так что немцы, что пиндосы, учитывали сильные и слабые стороны своих самолетов, и в догфайты особо не лезли с более маневренным противником, они использовали свое преимущество в скорости. А тот кто быстрее, и позицию может занять более выгодную и выйти из боя когда это не выгодно, и навязать бой, когда выгдно. А на примере тупого бота строить такие выводы, ну согласись, это крайне странно.

А что если использовать 27Р? 27ЭР при прочих равных всегда быстрее аим-7, можно даже позже противника выпустить на несколько секунд - все равно энергетический перевес таков, что у семёрки нет шансов. При этом чисто субъективно в онлайне на ГСном 29 обычно получалось так, что Р-27Р и Аим-7 были в некоем балансе и вероятность сбить и быть сбитым была равна
  22. With cockpit and game localization set to English the AWACS/GCI is still in Russian. With eyes on sensors, bandits, wingmen, or near rocks as you're ingressing/egressing at low altitude, having to take your eyes off more important things to read subtitles in the corner of the screen is a situational awareness nightmare; potentially a death sentence causing CFIT during low altitude flying. The AWACS/GCI voice needs to be in English and/or match the game's localization settings.
  23. This issue drives me wild, Aerges needs to fix it. Its clearly a problem with their module specifically and it makes the interior AND exterior look HORRIBLE. Such a beautiful plane being represented this way is sad...
  24. This happens on flat displays too, and is not exclusive to any one part of the module. The entire module has major shimmer. Something is wrong with it. Aerges needs to review it and solve it. Even the exterior paint shimmers more than all other modules combined.
  25. I would also like to ask if external 3D model of the MiG-29A Fulcrum can be updated so that it blocks light and this light beam is not visible on other side of the fuselage?
  26. Not to rehash a very old, very tired debate, but DCS lacks too many features and tools to use the word 'realistic', without it asking it to do an awful lot of heavy lifting.

I'm still setting up controls and getting a feel for the systems, but test BVR fights against the AI (admittedly all-seeing/all-knowing with perfect SA) equipped with AIM-7F's and M's have been pretty brutal. Contention at least offers the EWR script, with which I feel like I'd have a fighting chance at notching to the merge against human opponents with fallible SA. But I despair of trying it against more than 1 AI in a SP mission/campaign. My thought is that without a GCI/EWR system in SP, I'd personally prefer the slider of RWR fidelity>>>fun gameplay be adjusted in favour of cutting players a break. (And assuming the posters suggesting ED has modelled the SPO-15 incorrectly will be ignored) People's mileage in this regard will vary, of course. I very much WANT this module to be a best seller, and I'm not sure it will be. I take no joy in saying that, and hope to be proven wrong. It is insanely fun to fly and an absolute monster in WVR fights, I wholeheartedly concur.
