I was meaning more for locking the view onto target after it has been acquired. You would acquire same way you would in real life, by looking. In real life you can naturally lock to the target so it would be good to have this same feature in dcs. but it brings an important point, you do lose things by being in a seat and staring at a screen in a single direction and limited fov. So having assistance to help offset that can be useful. yeah instrument approaches are easy, but I’m talking about vfr.

Just to highlight it again : is there any way to relocate/resize MFDs for Alt-F1 View (HUD) only. I know how to change screen(s), MFD size and location within .lua setup files in DCS World\config\MonitorSetup\. Changing the MFDs there changes the MFDs for Alt+F1 HUD view and F1 cockpit view, which does not make sense to me. I do not want the additional MFDs for normal F1 view, F2 view or any other view. I want additional MFDs for Alt+F1 HUD view only.

I don't think you have a profile for a module that hasn't released yet (maybe for mod?). However, as for the throttles, they are shared in the model, and all axle assignment options will be possible (from single ones, through controlling only the left and right engines on two axes, as with the TH Warthog).

Hello, i find out recently that some early modules like（f18 or f16 or av8 harrier) are not compatible with SRS's "radio switch work as PTT" function. I have to set the dedicated key bind in SRS to use the radio in those aircraft Many modules are compatible (even early one like uh1) are compatible with this function. It would be good if those modules were also compatible with this function

Yes, I recently did the same. Went from 2 x gtx1070 to a rtx 3080ti. All you need to do is swap the card and update drivers. It is advised to delete the shaders folder in dcs so they can be rebuilt for the new card. I went from about 70-90fps to 120-150fps with same settings. Probably cpu and pci-e limited. I have turned the settings up and set a frame limit of 72fps (144Hz) monitor. I killed one of my 1070 cards so am considering putting the second one in for pysX, had this arrangement previously. If you are considering changing processor, check motherboard or socket compatibility first. If you need to change motherboard it needs a reinstall of windows. For me with a custom install a right pain. But like me you may also be limited in pci-e bandwidth, so cpu upgrade (if possible) may not do much at all. You can only resolve that by changing motherboard with a newer chipset. I’ve got z370 chipset, which is pci 3 and 8th gen cpu. Considering going on to 9th gen as it has same socket but I dont think it will give me much more as I will be pci limited, even though it has 2 more cores. Would have to go to pci 4 or 5 to resolve but i dont want to change motherboard. Some of the new motherboards are really expensive. Changing card usually gives a noticeable increase but you have to consider these other factors.

If your NAS supports Docker, using Docker to install and run the DCS dedicated server is probably the solution with the least overhead and thus best performance. Running the dedicated server on Windows via a VM is very likely affected by serious performance issues.

А я не думаю, что отсутствие GPS-навигации в миссиях 4 и 5 — это ошибка. Действие 4-й миссии происходит в 1988 году, 5-й — в 1993 году. Тогда ещё не было GPS-навигации. И в ядро DCS вроде бы встроен фильтр по дате миссий. Если установить дату до 1994 года (вроде бы) , то некоторых фишек современных летательных аппаратов не будет.

Refueling is so lame and I don't get why ED doesn't care about it at all. They made FLOLS overlay years ago. So If the problem is realism, remove that too. Tanker crew don't give any directing messages, lights can't be seen. It is like punishing refuellers

Hi, as the subject line suggests. RNW32 is not being used by AI under any circumstances - unless I am doing something wrong. All flights diverted or start from RNW30. No matter where they are parked. In addition, in IFR you get clearance to land at RNW32 (ILS) but RNW30 lights up. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
