  2. O.K. right.. but what now?
  3. UPDATE v1.0(?) Hello everyone, today it's not going to be a regular update but a fresh start with the addition of MiG-31K version to the mod. The old User Files link is going to stop getting updates with v2.72 being the last available version to download. From now on the mod will include both MiG-31BM and MiG-31K versions developed simultaneously. First off - changes to the BM version compared to the latest version: - Fixed HUD glass texture on the exterior model, - Added variable air intakes animation, - Added altimeter pressure setting knob, - Two new liveries by Brzoza - @StalkerXDPL - Changed afterburner nozzle texture, - Adjusted Kh-31P flight parameters, - Made cockpit afterburner sound quieter, - Changed the texture of metal hydraulic parts (refueling probe, gears), Now the MiG-31K version - it uses Su-25T avionics, so it's free, you don't even need FC3/2024 pack for it to work. The Kinzhal missile works with ELINT Fantasmagoria pod, however the pod itself is not visible, but you still need to equip it in ME. As you could probably figure out, due to DCS FC3 limitations, Kinzhal works as an antiradiation missile. The maximum range I could get it to hit the radar was 500km, it was also the maximum range enemy radar could see me above the sea while flying at 15000m. Due to DCS missile coding limitations (I might be wrong and it might be further researched) the missile doesn't actually perform like Kinzhal would (allegedly), and any changes in the direction of more "realistic" behavior make missile miss and stop working properly. It still flies a high arch trajectory at very high speeds but it's not really ballistic. Hit probability is dependent on launch parameters and from countless launches I've made, I recommend not to launch it closer than 150 or even 200km from target while also being at at least 15000m altitude and above 1,4M. Right now I couldn't make AI launch Kinzhals (at least from further distances), will work on it in coming updates. Enjoy! Right now I'm waiting for the approval on User Files so here are the links: drive.google.com/file/d/1WviBWejGCFcJT3SFyiOW5IQGPU6NXsHX/view https://mega.nz/file/Ecw1SBwS#7NlfGC7K_vEXmk-9Gq7yQx6pHQ3TfDhQ8aC54XCobWY

    Be careful out there…..
  5. They don't "magically" turn a 24G 4090 into a 48G 4090. It says so in the video. At 2:38, he says "Because Nvidia doesn't make a 48G 4090, the repair shop has to source it's own PCB". (see image below) They're not adding VRAM to a 24G 4090. A 24G 4090 doesn't have the electrical features needed to do this, so you couldn't turn a 24G card into a 48G card no matter what. He states "it's a custom board, just for this." At that point, it's no longer a 24G 4090. They simply use the GPU and other 'donor' components from the original card. The electronics work necessary to do this also is not magic. Anyone with the right tools and training can do it. I have some of this equipment and military training, and I regularly work with surface mount devices in my shop. Yet I have zero interest in doing something like this, because there's no real market for it, considering the costs. The video says a 48G card sells for $2800 US, and from that you have to subtract the cost of the card, components, labor and the tools/equipment they're using. Even if it's worth it to the shop in the video, part of that is earned back/financed by their other operations. Not worth it to someone like me, simply because there's no sustainable market for a 4090 that costs $2800 just because it's got 48G - especially considering that 'standard' 24G 4090s are selling for record high prices right now anyway. (To be clear, I've sold 4090s recently, but unlike the b@stads who 'scalp'...I sold units at/near MSRP). Nvidia doesn't care because it's not even remotely a credible threat to any concern of theirs. The costs involved don't balance against the market.
  6. Use this: ReShade And follow these instructions:
  7. Please be sure to put the MASTER ARM switch to either ARM or SIMULATE, it seems you may have forgotten thank you
  8. Попробуй зайти через английскую версию сайта (только оплачивать нужно в долларах).
  9. Thanks Silver_Dragon I had yet to stumble across that on the forums.
  10. Today
  11. First option is folder containing second option. And liveries are arranged into aircraft name.....otherwise they wont show in game. Last 4 options are the official installation. Best practice is to use savedgames...windows prefers it that way. In saying that I have liveries in the coremods (bottom)option. Some skin makers have made it their preferable way. Check install instructions. If you have to reinstall DCS those will not come back. In a clean-up command situation you will have the option to remove or keep all non official files including skins. Best practice is to keep your install clean and official.
  12. Thanks for this! great to be able to swap for different aircrafts. For anyone interested, the 22mm version works great for the F-16C
  13. I have no idea sorry as it is an unofficial mod. Might be best to check with Massun92.
  14. When someone says something isn't planned, that accounts for the future as well. So I can imagine for the time being the answer is no. We will just have to wait and see. and for DCS purposes, im sure the CARP will be more than enough to get the job done.
  15. BTW I just realised one thing that could make the solution more easy for you guys, but im not 100% sure. I cannot try because i dont have display export in DCS. Seeing the AMPCD from the thread i quoted it seems that the solution could be achieved with only working in the Luma channel. Because the map colours seems to be okay. So if you dont need to transform the colours and only need the luma, that makes things way easier. If thats the case you could achieve a solution by just adjusting with a custom curve or with gamma values. Here is an example with one of the OP screenshots and a quick custom curve i just did in some external software. I tried the same in Photoshop with a similar curve. And both make those two almost identical, the priamry display and the external one.
  16. Thanks for the feedback!
  17. What happened to Massun92's Huey update-mission?
  18. That would be one large thread! I think I'll need to give it a go when I find the time
  19. Yes, that could be true But to be fair, after spending a couple of hours again in the hook: The flight model has improved a lot since launch. At least in my opinion.
  20. I don't think you can beat it at the price, for seated sims anyway. I haven't used a Q3, but I want a cable as our wifi is busy. 5/5 would buy again!
  21. The posted video from ralfidude was awesome already. Please keep them coming, so we have something to dream about while waiting...

  22. Please make a new thread with a short as possible track replay so we can investigate your claims. thank you Hi, hot start should be boresighted already, that is correct. For cold starts you would need to do the boresighting manually. thank you
  23. Please do not turn this into another thing. If you notice something else wrong make a separate forum post about it. GBU-12 and AGM-65 are two separate weapons. And this is dealing with BSGT not accuracy of impacts.
  24. Hi, I have passed on the comments to the team. thank you
  25. Oh, I fully intend to set up the PSVR2Toolkit ASAP. Thank you once again!
  26. Ok, great to hear. Many thanks [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  27. interesting....with ATP in cold start also LGB bombs seem have a accuracy errors
