  1. Past hour
  2. I'm running beta as well and the latest version Posted this same issue on the SS discord. Have yet to hear back
  4. Default position is at zero. What you're seeing is with my foot on the pedal at the point of instant jump to 50. I've eliminated that useless part with a 50 deadzone. If I leave it as a straight slider then 50 input would be an instant 50 output on the brakes which is very undesirable. This works very well. ..
  6. Here you go... KneeboardFiles.zip
  7. I noticed one thing: the sun visor inside the cabin is transparent. The view from the outside is correct. Can anyone tell me which file is responsible for this element inside the cabin? I wanted to see if it's possible to achieve the same effect as in, for example, the OH-58 Kiowa. OH-58 sun visor off/on
  9. German Airforce hopefully. And I hope a livery magician will do a 1980s GAF Transall look-alike eventually
  10. this is assuming, so take it with a grain of salt. I "assume" every module has a contractual agreement behind it rather than just the 3rd party (and Ill touch on that briefly), and if thats the case then yeah...every module contracted prior to VEAOs departure would be left out of the updated agreement, and those signed afterwards are enforced. If its the 3rd party that signed the contract and its for as long as they develop under the ED SDK, then every contract afterwards would be enforced. ED never made this clear...personally I think they should, but it kind of doesnt really matter at this point.
  13. Yes it's true
  14. Got it. Thanks. Now Windows Firewall blocks the download due to potential virus. Need to work on that.
  15. After all this mess, almost 2 years of waiting for a resolution, we as customers, already dont know since 2018 what modules are inside de ED sharing files policy, speaks volumes about the importance of customers concernings for DCS and 3rd Parties, ED has. Something so easy to listed that will give customers some kind of relief and confidence are still unknown. This situation makes me believe not only Razbam is out of this policy, but more 3rd parties are not signing it, involving more modules. If thats not the case i dont know why we are still beeing ignored.
  16. There was a huge amount of backlash from the community after the first iteration of the Afghanistan map, and ED noticed they can't get away with releasing such low-quality modules/maps any more. That's most likely the reason behind all the delays: to incorporate consumer feedback and generally speaking improving the overall quality. Most people would agree delays are preferable over early releases of sub-par modules/maps, I bet...
  17. off topic removed. Please keep the discussion about the C-130J Thank you
  18. Hi, zerO_crash wrote "that it's coming this year." Which, in DCS terms, means "be patient."
  19. Today
  20. This is a known crash which has been reported to dev team here: Your log also says that you have core parking enabled which can lead to stuttters/microfreezes, or even crashes in certain situations. Here is a link with information and a tutorial to disable this setting in Windows 11. https://www.dannymoran.com/windows-cpu-core-parking/
  22. I hope this will be for the Huey and other helicopters too. Happy landings, Talisman
  23. It was an air start nam dogfight-20250802-113941.trk It requires the ww2 marianas map
  24. You can ask to change the game and eventually get it or not, or you can change your style to accomodate to the game you're playing. You can ask the mission designer to prepare the ready aircraft you desire to jump on or make your own.
  25. This issue has brought the whole 3rd party developer risk to light. Anyone that thinks a third party will just hand over code to another party if they go belly up is deceiving themselves. If you believe any of the 3rd parties agreed to this supposed new contractual agreement I have a few bridges to sell you, or to the third party if they actually agreed to it. If a business goes belly up for any reason they are not going to just give up their work for free for another business entity to continue making profit off of their base work. All these 3rd party modules and maps are completely dependent on the original developer unless sold off. Razbam modules are going to either work and die a slow death or ED will just break them all in one version upgrade and be done with the issue and we won’t be able to do anything about it. The only way to prevent this is to have ED buy the rights to a developed module using the 3rd party as a sub contractor. The problem with this is ED can barely keep up with their own work let alone any extra modules being pushed out by other developers.
  26. To find the new IDs, in your new DCS install go to any aircraft and map a single button for each controller. you'll see files created like this: C:\Users\Yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\Aircraft\joystick CH FIGHTERSTICK USB {2796EE60-F354-11ef-8002-444553540000}.diff Move these files somewhere else, then copy your old files to these locations. Using Explorer just copy and paste the new name onto the old files. If you're using modifiers they are located here: C:\Users\Yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\Aircraft\modifiers.lua Go into the file with Notepad and replace this: local modifiers = { ["JOY_BTN16"] = { ["device"] = "CH PRO THROTTLE USB {2796EE60-F354-11ef-8001-444553540000}", ["key"] = "JOY_BTN16", ["switch"] = false,
