Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
GeoS72 replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
@-Rudel-, have you independently confirmed this bug exists, besides reading this thread? Making sharp turns in the Corsair is not possible in its current state. Do you require more information or data? Are you suggesting that the users are SOL ("Still" Out of Luck) for differential braking? -
Had a chance to watch all three tracks. Nice pattern work and landings Excellent throttle management on takeoff as well, taking it up to only 50", and not full throttle. However, you cooked the engine on all three flights with the oil temp gauge pegged to the right. Open up those oil cooler flaps and you'll be all good. This behavior changed in the last update, so this is why your usual procedure from before no longer works. Unrelated to the engine, I noticed you unlocked the tailwheel prior to your takeoff roll. Only FYI: The procedures IRL called for locked tailwheels on takeoffs. Cheers!

Hi Rudel, I don’t understand… If, as you say, that is out of your control, and what is seen in the reflection is the external model pilot and cockpit, how come that some planes do not show the pilot in the mirrors AT ALL, no matter how extreme side or up viewpoint, or zoom level, like the F-18 and the A-10 and MIG-21. Granted, some show the pilot in the mirror, but only with extreme absurd side or up viewpoints like in the P-51, F-5 and Sabre. On ALL this planes in the external view, the pilot is very much present, without exception. So this is plane related, don’t you think?

PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!

This is fantastic news!! I'm looking forward to trying this out as soon as I get back from holiday. Could you add your PC hardware specs please? For comparison, I'm generally holding 60 FPS unless I'm taxiing in a big base or something similar on a 4080/9800x3d Thank you for your setting page, really useful! -

Hi @McKronenberg, a quick question: when HB is ready to "pre-release", will ED testers start to test it? Thanks. -

@Zabuzard Just checking back in on this. Really excited to start making my own mods, but trying to figure things out without examples is a headache. Even if the Jester source code stays hidden for now, it would still be very helpful to have a central place for people to share code and collaborate. Thanks! -

It's a shame the project has been put on hold (temporarily?). I really like this mod, but... Unfortunately, after the last update, all the control surfaces stopped moving. -
AI do not react to ARH at all.

You know, the reason why you're going to get asked for a track is that that's a lot easier than messing around trying to recreate what you did. In this case: what player aircraft? What AI aircraft? What ARH A2A missile (AIM-120? Russian one?). What elevation were each at? What bearing were they at? What Advanced Waypoint settings? It saves everyone a lot of time if you take 20 seconds to save and post a track file. -

Strange, on my latest DCS the weapons do show up: No idea, not enough data to venture a guess -
That's great i guess you are one of the dev team, wishing you the best for the project. Any thought's on the other points i raised reference ECHS MFCD loadmaster panel, duel stage cargo drops, weather impacts, varied canopy requirements depending on load, JPADS. I mention JPADS as this could be used for so many mechanics within the game for MP object placement and third pary campaign dev's (as in once the cargo lands it then converts into an asset with additional lua framework etc) and give the module a greater escape window/accuracy. Are the CARP/HARP points relayed into the flight management systems such as the HUD etc?

Must have missed that part in the changelog, important is that it's a known thing. Must have missed that part in the changelogs, important is that it's known and will be fixed

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
JupiterJoe replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
In my opinion your points are moot, because the tail wheel is damaged from the moment you spawn in (ask the ground crew to do a repair as soon as you spawn in. The '170 secs' will pop up, which only happens if something's damaged. When they're finished the aircraft will misalign with the ground and cause the tail wheel to break again). We cannot accurately judge its functionality in this state. Personally I think the tail wheel should castor freely when unlocked and when locked be limited to the 40 odd degree limit we're currently seeing for unlocked. -

I've been researching but I can't find any precise information. Will the C-130 have a datalink?, and if so, what type?

I tried re-installing the latest Pimax play through the app, and then re-installing MB's Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3, and DCS freezes at the menu screen. Edit: Disregard. I misunderstood a previous post that made me think the hotfix installed through the app. After the manual download, and re-install of Quadviews, everything is working now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
