While a valid test for sure, it still doesn’t help those of us on ultrawide screens. I run at 3440x1440 and almost every aircraft with hud is affected. F16, F18, harrier, … all have very thick font lines. Repeating what I said above, I can even fix it easily in the files but this breaks IC so it’s not really an option. This is very unfortunate as it is (seemingly) an easy fix. Best I can do now in MP is reduce hud brightness but that’s not very convenient and it definitely doesn’t solve the issue on some MFDs (harrier). Edit: I’m not near my computer but I’ll post a few screenshots when I can

This bird looks nice and promising! But hardly I have to say "no" to any purchase from a3rd party developer after the second loss of developer (first VEAO, now Razbam). A purchase would be a too big uncertainty for the future. Sorry, but ED crashed their loyalty in that for me!

@stalkereye Hier auch nochmal was zum Thema Microstutters. Je nachdem, wie gut Du des Englisch mächtig bist....

waiting for resolution ED/RAZBAM Situation Info & Discussion

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be adversarial but no commercial organisation knows what’s coming around the corner. They don’t exist for you and I, they exist to compete in a market for money, one that may or may not grace them with its favour. Tomorrow the proverbial might hit the fan and it could be 2007 or 1923 again and then our little worries about whether or not there will be a little digital model of an F15 working in a months time will have become a little besides the point. To state the obvious we really do, sometimes, need to remind ourselves that anyone in one of the world’s numerous war zones at the moment may take quite a dim view of the worries thar exercise you and I. So, the answer is count as a plus what you have today and enjoy it whilst you have it because tomorrow you, me and everything else might have been reduced to a load of dust in a fall out cloud - not be too over dramatic am I? -
YES! The C-130 is #1 on my list. Keep your Typhoons and Tornados, I want my Hercules.

The citations I have are in my OP. That's the best copy of Pattern 2 I can find, and I can't find any information on what Pattern No. 1 is at all (ww2aircraft.net speculates it's for point convergence). According to Hammel (Aces Against Japan) VMF-213 zeroed all six guns to 100 yards. That's all I have.

Yes all 80 series bomb blast radius have been updated.

And if you have made your own modifiers, don't forget to edit the modifiers.lua of each module or redo those modifiers manually, like you did before.

If you check the mission folder you should see interactive startup and shutdown trainer missions. These missions do highlight the switches if you are not sure which switch is which. You have 10 seconds to locate the correct switch and if not, then it will be highlighted. I found them quite useful when first learning the A-10 but they didn't really fit into the campaign format but the missions are still part of the campaign package and in the folder. You can open them in the mission editor. We have not tested them in a long time so let me know if you find any issues if you want to try them out. We will fix any bugs reported if we can.

investigating No RWR warnings about SA-11 launch

Yes, but it is not the best. -
Yeah basically all you have to do is, using Explorer, paste the new file name containing the new ID onto your old controls file. Very fast and easy to do.

How did you manage to catch the racket? It looks bad. I got into the game and then it was over. -
No, I forgot to mention that (I'll update the GitHub), I've ended up just modeling the MTR, TTR, and TRR as pretty much the same. I've got no idea how to get a radar to track the missile, but that would be nice. The HIPAR and LOPAR, however, do have different capabilities.

Yeah, but 3-point guidance only requires angular information. -
Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
GTFreeFlyer replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
You can’t get it to spin around one of the mains with full brake, rudder, and lots of engine power? You can try pushing forward on the stick a little to lift the non-pivoting tail wheel up. No issues here even though the wheel can’t freely pivot yet. Just takes LOTS of power. It will turn left better than right due to the slipstream effect (not sure if this is actually modeled yet, but just info for general taildragger stuff). I hope these tips help. Not sure why it would be different for us. If you turned down the saturation of your rudder axes, then you won’t be getting full turning authority. Maybe that too? If there’s a lot of wind, or you’re on the moving carrier, turning is more difficult as it should be with the plane wanting to weathervane due to the vertical tail. Everyone has different priorities for what they want to see implemented first. If M3 shared the list, there will be lots of arguments. It’s a great module and they are aware of what’s happening in the forums. It will come eventually. I have faith. In the meantime I enjoy the plane much more in the air than on the ground. It’s such a joy to fly -
Yes I wanted to get the picture behind a /spoiler too but it wouldn't let me. I fixed it as much as I could...

Thanks, I was sure that it was in system, thanks!!!
-
No, just keep the crosshairs on the target, and your missile go on it, the laser ranging is only to know if you are at range. You can shoot without laser ranging, the hot is only wire-guided

Ace thanks! I'm off to the shop then!

shagrat started following C-130J Pre-purchase
-
Pre-ordered! Thank you for your hard work. This will be one hell of a flight experience. Despite the perception, that there's not "much to do for a C-130J in DCS" I can't wait to do all those things we will be able to do! From supply drops, combat landings on improvised short runways, cargo delivery on a dynamic multiplayer server, to the MC-130J and infil and exfil of SpecOps teams behind enemy lines or in the Hindukush mountains in weather and at night... And the impressions from the pre-order trailer are awesome. Really looking forward to this gem!

The P-3 or even an S-2 would be amazing, as well as some Navy helicopters like the MH-60/HH-60 series or a SH-2 for example. However, I think the whole ASW scene would need serious development before any modules could exist, for starters there would need to be underwater topography and a seascape developed for each map, then sonar principles and war ship AI logics would need to be created, only with those minimum requirements could ASW be truly "simulated" or modeled in DCS and various modules. Hopefully someday that all become a reality along with ship modules!

No radar, no distance information. TV channel could not be used, since most of actions for SA3 occured at night and small number had thermovision. Gen. Jovica Draganić stated actual numbers of missiles launched using different tracking methods in this book(500+ pages): https://delfi.rs/knjige/63397-vazdusni-rat-nad-srbijom-1999-godine-knjiga-delfi-knjizare.html Same authors also published 2 booklets in English, but with naturally reduced set of information. It was actually my error, I meant missile not seeker. Btw distance fuze reading is transmitted back to the guidance operator f1/f2, each having fairly large single niddle based instrument to indicate measured distance. At the end of the day despite being way less advanced than Kub and not as mobile, Neva did perform way better. Still not all of the crews were of equal training quality. E.g. 3 r.d. had professional crew in key positikns, while some others were composed from reserve. Maybe digressing too much. KUB itself made passive launches(no prior radar illuminaton) on A-10s but not truly passive, since guidance had to be provided. I believe they got RWR warnings. Once the missile was in the air, illuminator was turned on.

The size of the module isn't metioned in the store yet. The 200GB are the minimum requirement of DCS. E.g. the MiG-29A also shows those 200GB in the minimum requirements but mentions a module size of less than 3GB.

Das war ein toller Freitag! Freue mich auf die C-130 sehr!! Ich finde es vor allem toll dass mit der Herc neue Aspekte des Militärfliegens in DCS einzieht und der SIM damit vielschichtiger wird.
