  1. Past hour
  2. I do assisted start up. Go through the warning stuff. He tells me to arms the injection seat. I do that. I say check. He says close the canopy. But it never happens
  3. Actualy ED has no enable the trailers with towing capability. And missing many trailers.
  4. please added a track replay example on Caucasus, make it as simple as possible to show the issue and we will take a closer look thanks
  5. interesante.
  6. Even when turning the knob to maximal value the emitted sound is too low, and easily covered by air flow, engine sound and SPO noise. I thought we were supposed to pick this volume on our own?
  7. And with the C-130, at least it's at a much slower pace than in a fighter So flying it solo shouldn't be too difficult, flying with a friend will be even better. I just imagine it'll be so nice to have a co-pilot do the cockpit items on our checklist while I am handflying the plane on approach, It will be a lot of fun
  8. This Sokół looks like a beautiful helicopter, but we already have an Mi-24 and Mi-8, and I don't know that it would fulfill a niche that hasn't already been filled as far as Warsaw Pact forces are concerned. I'll admit I had never heard of it outside of this thread.
  9. Thanks for the responses folks, they are good and correct. But I did use the advanced targeting pod before, and while it was blurry initially, when you stay on target it would sharpen up. I did see the Wags video when it came out and did read the section in the manual. I probably need to go through these again. While it is entirely possible that the problem is between the chair and the desk, I think that so far I see a real set of problems. I forgot to mention, that not all the ground targets in my practice mission show up at all, and when one target gets hit, the others seemed to entirely disappear. This is a simple mission I created myself, so it has no triggers, and the targets I'm talking about don't even move (like scud launchers). I'll continue looking deeper into it and experimenting as time allows. But I suspect that there are real problems with my installation after the last patches. I don't know whether they are limited to my setup or not.
  10. I think you may be thinking of the 2K22 Tunguska.
  11. I will ask QA members with the quest to check again. thanks
  12. Oban, real life always takes priority. This is wonderful news regarding the Lynx. Thank you very much for all the work you do.
  13. Thank you, Dali, for posting and keeping us non Discord server folk in the loop.
  14. Yeah, this sounds like DCS is incorrectly assuming a vertically symmetrical FOV and incorrectly drawing in the center of the image it submits to the headset, when it should be putting it in the center of the field of view. It should be expected that this issue can not be reproduced with a Pimax Crystal, because Pimax Play reports vertically symmetrical FOV. DCS is provided with the information it needs to do this correctly when it calls `XrLocateViews()` -the `XrView` array members have a `fov` member, which in turn has separate `angleUp` and `angleDown` members. These are not required to be identical, but for a Pimax Crystal, they are, so you can't reproduce the bug on a Crystal. Pimax Crystal: angleUp is 0.90541315 (radians), angleDown is -0.90541315 - ~ 52 degrees both directions Quest Pro: 42 degrees angleUp, -53 degrees angleDown, so a crosshair that is put in the center of the render target without paying attention to the FOV angleUp/angleDown will be quite substantially off. These are the values that the runtime reports to DCS and that DCS should be using, not a personal subjective measurement. You must use a real Quest headset to test this issue; the Meta XR Simulator always reports symmetrical FOV. It is also likely that this ties into the reports about 'mirror window too high' - though that isn't a bug if it's accurately showing what's sent to the panel.
  15. From my testing using cable didnt improve anything notable compared to a USB Wifi stick. Lag and stability was basically the same, assuming theres line of sight from stick to headset; Wifi6 is really bad at barrier penetration. I prefer not using cable for comfort and considering it seems like the USB-C port is the easiest bit to break. Additionally you can connect a compact powerbank to remove the battery-limit for sessions.
  16. Today
  17. Hi, I have this very strange issue on MP only when doing manual start where the 29 for whatever reason will bug out and my ADI and Hud Display wont function correctly and will act as if the ADI is caged and the HUD symbology is static. Unsure if im doing something wrong but I've tried the same procedure on startup in quick mission on SP and worked fine. This only seems to be an Issue after the latest patch. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Track file attached. SPS-Contention-Syria-SARH-20250925-212047.trk
  18. The Vietnam War Vessels mod has been updated to version 2.1.0. This release introduces the RF-101B Voodoo to the pack. While the twin-seat variant included here did not see combat in Southeast Asia, its single-seat counterpart was active in the early years of the Vietnam War. We hope you’ll still enjoy having this iconic reconnaissance aircraft represented. Other changes include: Added navigation lights to the RA-5C Vigilante Added a guard tower to the buildings pack Downloads: https://github.com/tspindler-cms/tetet-vwv/releases Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vCJvp8jqN1nTK0J4yyWJiKveBn4PJSdB?usp=sharing Known Limitations for the RF-101B: The landing gear doors and covers don't close perfectly The landing gear suspension is not animated The BORT number should be five digits, not three The pilot is generic rather than specific for the Voodoo. Development of a custom Voodoo pilot is out of financial reach, if interested in sponsoring one contact TeTeT There are no pylons present currently, not even for fuel tanks The front gear is not animated for turning Some images from Whiplash accompanying the release:
  19. It better be removable. I don't want my ground crew getting sticky fingers.
  20. Thanks for the insight Dali, appreciate it. Certainly looks promising! Pretty bloody fantastic actually.
  21. Agreed, I just want cohesion in the environment of the cockpit. The issue isn't so much that it's in metric or Imperial units, the issue is that it's a mix. I'd be surprised if an actual 9.12 had such a mix as a Soviet line bird. Sure, the MiG-29Gs were in Imperial, but we don't have a G.
  22. Echoing Tengah - certainly works. Downloaded it specifically to test, no issues.
  23. In the kneeboard the callsigns are given as Raven 1. Should be Springfield 7.
  24. Can we get simple yes or no?
  25. great movie...
  26. Thats how I usually see people describe it. The nav system of our F-14 (without B(U)/GPS/PTID upgrades) isnt accurate enough to be the solo source for precise bombing.
