  3. Someone remember the "walk" feature claimed on the Supercarrier early?
  4. I know exactly what they are, flight directors, it's how they are labeled in the FC manual (where the screenshot comes from) but they currently do not work in the Fulcrum. So I'm asking, WIP or not a feature of the real aircraft.
  5. As mentioned in other threads we are doing some work on the rotor for a future patch. This yaw tweak is an interim tweak while we wait for the main work to be completed. She is certainly handling better now. thanks

  8. It's Attitude director indicator, because it combines the attitude indicator with a flight director. What you labelled 'required heading' and 'required altitude' are actually the ILS loc and gs indicators and they have nothing to do with heading or altitude. Your 'required bank ' needle is actually the required heading needle and your 'required pitch' needle is actually the required altitude needle. Looks a lot more like operator error to me than a 'cheat' addition.

  10. Agree completely. Online, the FC 29 is far more competitive and has higher survivability than the FF 29. With the F5E, the difference was negligible as it is a very simple aircraft. With the 29, the difference is significant. Nevertheless, today many folks were driving the Fulcrum on Contention SARH. Hopefully, more will join in.

  12. It was an interesting trade off, strike capability vs survivability. The fact that US carriers post the Essex class used armoured decks probably says it all.

  17. The mapped AB Latches and Idle Latches on my hotas do not work for me, nor do the keyboard commands. Right-click on the stopwatch does also nothing. I cant cold start for this reason or use the afterburner without auto-latch. Anyone sees the same or has an idea whats going on with my setup? Dont have mapping issues with other modules...
  18. The "problem" is the old MiG29A is still there and it rocks compared to new one in its simplicity and FC3 "cheats". And its there even on te popular servers.
  19. Personally, I think it's a great idea. If I were doing a cold start or hot from ramp I'd rather walk up to the aircraft than just appear in the cockpit (I might assume someone else had already checked the airworthiness though). We have amazing airbases / terrain getting dropped near / walking to the aircraft has to be more immersive. (I imagine it would go down pretty well on the carrier ops) OK - feedback - I do. Maybe a poll would be a good idea (headed with a slightly longer video?).

  21. Not using GCI is a tremendous misconception in Western civilian general audience. US never had absence of GCI or AWACS in real combat. Absense of HQ outside of cockpits is not "adding flexibility", its removing tactical and operational analisis. Also what is really put into "flexibility"? It's military, not school yard. You have objective you go get it. or "Dudes I don't feel protecting 3 mechanized batallions refueling and rearming for the next 45 minutes, I see a helicopter, monke neuron activates". And then a single MiG-27 obliterates your infantry batallion with a tactical nuke. Same as when you request permission to do something it's not "dumb rigidity" it's because to do new thing you need to abandon old thing, and it should be verified if it's ok to have it unattended. Hope it explains.
  22. This looks good as far as AA goes, but is not a real solution. FSR still produces too much ghosting for me to be acceptable for WVR spotting. Planes just look like a blur.

  24. Make sure, that if you have to invert axis, you do it in the MOza driver, not in the sim. That's important for all FFB-devices.
  25. This is needed for more immersion. Especially in VR if the scale is right. Bring it on ED.
