  2. MSI in this case is referring to MULTI-SENSOR INTEGRATION in the Hornet and is completely unrelated to your graphics card. The same acronym is just to confuse you and throw off any spies looking into it MSI in the Hornet is what they've recently added and are still working on and since it touches a lot of stuff with the radar it's why things got broken.

  7. I have also this issue of frame drop and limited time accelerate of x2 Commenting the the Winwing export.lua file does not solve the issue. But commenting Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua solve the issue. Unfortunatly I need DCS-ExportScript for StreamDeck DCS Interface DCS v2.9.20.15010 DCS-ExportScript v1.2.1
  8. I am using a pimax crystal and dont have the issue. Best thing to do is attach your dcs log and a track replay so we can look for clues. thank you
  9. Hmm there might be an issue with all FFB sticks after all: today after my flight I had issues with my right engine so I decided to do a full shutdown and restart. After I got both engines back up and running, the AFCS test kept failing too: the stick was stuck in the forward left position with all lights blinking. Following the "AFCS test fail" procedure as detailed in the cold start training mission, didn't help...

  12. Its probably worth considering that the APQ-120 in 1980 was also just, under any circumstances, hopelessly outdated compared to F-14/15/16. The more advanced multirole concept, like defending yourself in A2G missions without dropping bombs was only really experimented with the F-18. And, as others said, the F-Tens were massive money sinks with lots of incredible advanced features, but also many problems that required fixing. The engines were a mess till the mid 80s after all! Even Germany, who got F4s mainly as a stop gap measure, only upgraded their Phantoms so much because the Eurofighter program had massive delays. Greece and Turkey kept their F4s mainly in active reserve because of Turkey and Greece. The USAF F-4s did get some upgrades, like the DMAS with its digital INS/nav/computer system. But that was specifically a light, low cost upgrade, and reflected its kater role as a strike aircraft with basic self defense capabilties.

Там много разных настроек. У меня на 4070 после патча на карте Германии подлагивало иногда. Я грузовой отсек поставил качество чуть ниже-перестало. Разницы в красоте не заметил.
  14. Да ну ладно. У меня на 10 тыс. метров F-15c примерно на 80 км захватывает. Да и у земли на 60 км вроде хватает. Норм РЛС. Непонимаю зачем рвать пятую точку и пытаться воевать с самолётами которые более чем на двадцать лет современнее. Его противники это оба миража, фантом, F-14 и F-15 на aim-7. Зачем мучаться?
  15. I didn't find any guides on the INU alignment on when starting up on sea based vessels. I tried the quick aligned procedure that were used on the ground disregarding the fact that the helo can't remain stationary on the sea in mission2 and I've ended up in state that that hover mode doesn't work as all three AP mode were flashing. However this issue wears of as the mission progress. Didn't know what's the correct operation for such scenarios.
  16. Well of course. For example rudder pedals are nearly universal between aircraft so saving and loading a profile for those works pretty well. But there are few truly common controls for these modules. If I was setting this all up again, and will be soon with a new HOTAS I’d create a profile for say the throttle with that axis and the zoom view and such on it. Then copy it into each model and edit from there. I can’t envision what a “control set up wizard” is never seen one in any other game.

  18. My throttle settings will not save from one DCS session to the next with the MiG-29. I tune the axis by checking the "slider" box and adjust a saturation to 84 to match the AB to my detents. For the rest of the flying session the settings are saved. When I shut down DCS and restart it the only the throttle "slider" and saturation settings are lost. This is the only module that does this. Any suggestions or is this a bug?

  20. You probably want to figure out a very basic intercept course at first, depending on the targets bearing and heading+speed. Doesnt have to be overly precise, but its useful to get there to give Jester the best ability to lock. I wouldnt purely rely on the lock to get an intercept course; sometimes the call is more than enough and you can just use the Boresight mode for a good and easy lock. Against AI I find Jester gets locks reliably enough tho. A lot of people seem to make mistakes not considering altitude; if you dont wanna play with radar elevation, it helps to be slightly lower than your target. Thats best for the default scan volume and the radar likes the lack of clutter anyway. If you are somewhat certain about the targets direction, you can switch radar to 30 degree scan, that can speed up acquisition. Against low flying human players, things can get a lot more complicated. You often cant really guarantee to get a useful lock, especially at ranges where Aim-7s are effective, due to the 4 second delay. Again, getting your own intercept course, having SA and spotting enemies yourself is quite valuable.
  21. Shiftall MeganeX exceeds your budget, but is among the best experiences currently available. It checks all the boxes -- small form factor, micro OLED screens, good lenses, great tracking, vivid colors, pure blacks, OpenXR. Its shortcomings include average FOV, slight glare, no built-in speakers. Recommend checking its Discord if at all interested.

  23. I know of an example from Cherbourg where the Coast Guard was using a 1W signal which was received by a boat 60 nm away. It comes down to the antenna if you have a decent radio. It also depends on the atmospheric conditions. 60nm is not impossible.
  24. Just for clarity and avoidance of confusion. RSBN stands for nav system beacons, like VOR/DME or TACAN. For instrumental landing guidance PRMG beacons are used.
