Cool tutorial! So, from what I could gather, you used the AI pilot. Did you start as door gunner and the AI did all the flight? I'll see what I can come up with.

They won't function as intended as their code is for AI use. It is far away from ideal.

No taxing improvement after today's update. The Spitfire, the Mustang, the P-47, and even the Mosquito all taxi fine but cannot keep the Corsair under control, especially on an airfield with a crosswind component. On the carrier deck with 30 knots of relative wind there's no problem making small adjustments for a straight launch but on a land airfield it's almost impossible to maneuver like the above mentioned aircraft.

@BIGNEWY Were you gents able to fix the cursor not working in the super carrier in VR from the Air Boss station?

Perhaps its engine knock from to high of MP without the water injection? I'm hearing a knocking sound now if I don't have the master WEP button on and am into the MP pressures where its needed. Working just like the P47 for me. Edit: Just tested. Confirmed that engine knock from excessive MP WITHOUT WEP will cause engine seizures. Edit 2: With WEP engaged, you can still exceed WEP MP pressures and knock the engine into a seizure. Follow the manual...or listen for the knock. The sound is pretty handy and nicely done.

The latest patch leaves some reason to be optimistic, as well.

I'm also curious how ED will implement to control four engines with a maximum of two throttles. Group them to pairs inner/outer, left/right ... ? Also how to load and unload cargo, troops ect. I'm exited.

TBD. I’ve used the Arduino micro and Leonardo in the past, and they’re great,but will try something different this time around because I’m always striving to learn something new. At least I have fallbacks that I know work well

I think Heatblur should make a sticky on the top of the forum. Let us know that you are doing less frequent, bigger updates. It's making people panic. Not everyone uses discord.

Wait till you guys figure it you need a switch that locks radar to MPRF to have both sensors work together. That you may not be able to transfer from one senior to another while maintaining lock without Fox 1. That your HUD symbology is only 50% of FC3. That your IRST has half the FOV it has in FC3. That to get wind correction for CCIP you need to accurately point the laser at the target twice within 8 seconds. That sure to ground mode might be limited to 5 km. Having sensors work together in search limits to 25 km HUD scale as radar is only in MPRF. You will see no target altitude/speed, symbol over target, right side of HUD only on HDD, no radar/IRST mode shown unless you look at the HUD scale which cannot be changed. It’ll be a fun ride
