I only found that a lot of performance optimization like VRAM usage and increased FPS came through loss of fidelity in the previous years. And I wonder why we can't have better textures and better Level of Detail control. looks like ED is ignoring a lot of Reporting in the 2D Bug section. And of course with the help of DLSS and FSR you can make up for it and make it less noticable, I do it myself on my Handheld 1080p with FSR looks like 1440p. But at least I can increase the native reslution if I think its not good enough. In DCS there is no Slider to properly display Shadows certain angles from the cockpit. No sliders to have Static objects appear with all details from Far and not 500' in front of me with noticable pop in. Also Shadows render quality, Cloud quality... 4x MSAA on 720 p on a 4k Screen looks awful 720 p on a 4K Screen with DLSS 3.2.123124124213523453464557567546 looks probably ok for many... you see my problem...

Later production Soviet Fulcrums also had this mode removed. It wasn’t liked or used by pilots for some reason.

I can confirm that temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius approx during initial load and stays that way while idling at the main menu. It is not to the point of being unplayable (performance seems pretty good, actually) but CPU usage shouldn´t be high while sitting idle at the main menu. dcs.log

Since the 2.9.16.10523 update, the HMD symbology is noticeably blurrier than the previous version. Could this be related to the following change? Fixed: HMD cross disappears with a large FOV - fixed the visibility with large FOV. Anyone else seeing this? Unfortunately I have the same. I had to uninstall the patch. I play on a laptop and after the patch the fans go crazy even on the start screen and the case heats up like an oven. Oddly enough after starting any mission the load on the processors decreases but is still higher than before the patch. DCS becomes unplayable - my wife is screaming at me to turn off that hair dryer!
