Could you possibly supply a short track that reproduces the issue for you? That would be a great help, thanks :)

In my experience you will not get a good boresight alignment on the ground, as it is not really possible, in most cases, to grab a point far enough out. Most anything you can grab while on the ground is going to be within one nautical mile. I prefer to do my boresight in the air, especially if I can find something that is already damaged or destroyed and I can easily see it's smoke plume. However if you are re-boresighting while in the air and attacking a target that SHOULD be pretty close. Just pay attention to the range you are finishing the boresight. For the most part, what you are describing is fiarly typical behavior that I would expect from the maverick.

AI wingmen or player? If latter, are their own lights visible for them locally? And I guess yours arent visible for them then? Or do you mean pilot to wso, like visible to pilot but not to wso?

DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
YoYo replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Hi! Thanks for the modification. It's better, but you're right, it's not quite there yet. It's your decision whether you can extend this main support. If you're still willing, it's worth working on. If not, we'll be happy with what we get! Thank you! -
AI Pilots cannot hit ships with the BAT bomb
-Rudel- replied to LeCuvier's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi, we'll look into this, but it may be EDs AI behavior model too. -
Yeah it’s not enough to raise the lever, you need to press the button at the end of it to release the chute.

I get this erroneous call all the time when flying on Nevada. Whatever logic is going into it, strongly suggest you reconsider.

FFB “Stick Shaker” Occuring Too Early
GTFreeFlyer replied to GTFreeFlyer's topic in Bugs and Problems
Ah! This one slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I will get a track for you soon. I’m still experiencing it. Lots of stick shaking going on with most easy turns. I’m still unsure if it is an effect for stall onset (plane seems fine and no shaking), or a simulated G-feeling effect. Thank you for responding P.S. It feels awesome to shoot the guns -
No. It just mirrors what's on the VR headset. You can find several comments on this in this forum over the years where people have compared low vs high monitor resolution (me included) and it makes no difference. The only reason I use 1080 on a 1440 monitor is so that I have a window rather than full screen.

Сейчас не отвечу. могу сказать что стрелять они могут в редисе ботов. и похоже снаряды их работают очень странно, на подлете к цели исчезают.

@-Rudel- LOL, who died and left you in charge.....

I will have a look into it and get back to you later today.

1. Stay within limits for takeoff, not full throttle. The air is very thick at low altitudes and you’ll overstress the engine trying to push the prop thru that air with full throttle. The procedure is 54” maximum for carrier takeoffs, much less for airfields. Once you climb, and have inflow of air into the prop, there’s less load on it and your MP will drop. Engine management is key. 2. I haven’t watched the track file. I’m assuming based on what I read that you were assuming the water will last forever? Here’s a screenshot for you…

Programmer still needs a track

Hi, we'll look into this ✌

In the DCS main page, with the fps views up I am getting loads of cores being utilised. Soon as I’m flying it’s now 1.8 cores … could this be the problem of stuttering?? I’m not that savvy on the motherboard aspects

Posted in the specific engine stops thread.

Btw. Repeat of talk-on (second) MGRS doesnt work as well. You can repeat once only. The same problem was in mission 10 as well. Before, in earlier missions, you can repeat as many times as you want.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
Doughguy replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
See my tracls above. Its differenr with and without wind. Without doing as you say works. As with any other warbird. With wind you cant really get past 90 degrees and can only turn into the wind. No matter which way you actually want to turn. So we wont be able to turn once wind is involved? -

PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!
RealDCSpilot replied to proxlamus's topic in Virtual Reality
Yeah nice. Finally they start to really unlock the PSVR2's potential for PCVR. It's already crazy what quality they achieve on the weak hardware of the PS5 due to DFR. -
We're gonna make you wait for 2 months. In any case, just because you played simulators since 2003, doesn't make you an expert on the DCS F4U-1D. Also, please don't compare it to the P-47D where 150 octane fuel was used on an R-2800-63W in the ETO. The F4U-1s used 130 Octane in the PTO, and an earlier version of the R-2800 series; the -8W. It, requires different methods of cooling control. And provide a log and track file at least. Saying everything was in the green doesn't necessarily mean anything. You don't mention your aircraft's altitude when switching tanks, etc. Are you below 19,000-feet? Did you try restarting the engine before switching tanks....and if so, perhaps you over primed the engine? Track files and logs are very useful for our programmers. Next, we don't use Voice Attack, and it's not required of us to do so. "\" has always been the required DCS default key for modules; you can simply change it to what you require. Do the test again and provide a track. The engine can overboost with WEP depending on the RPM.

nope, after correcting the first WP elevation all other populate correctly as they are created. spawning into a cold jet with these loaded from F10 map causes the INS drift. the INS will report a good align with HIGH status only to very quickly go to MED with GPS staying as HIGH

Hey Don, Many thanks for the update. I still can't get a pass mark for Misson 8, navigating to the carrier. I was able to receive the code, navigate to CV, then land successfully. The mission success popped up ok, but my score remained on 40. Would this have something to do with the flags "Landed" vs "Landed_CV"? Landed gets you 30 points, while Landed_CV gets you 60 points.
