Even in the year 2025, if you are flying in formation on a tanker during that pond crossing even in 1.5nm wedge, you will still have to disengage your autopilot every once in a while to make small corrections to heading as your spacing collapses and opens and then reengage it. Or keep it in altitude mode and just make small bank inputs every once and a while. Sounds like the OP just doesn't like the A-10... or hand flying an aircraft

You wrote that there would be no TV yet. There you need to switch to avionics 25T and you will look for "workarounds".

user resolved Why do my Mavericks keep missing?
ASAP replied to Madman1's topic in Bugs and Problems
Without a track I don't know if what he's saying is actually what is happening or not... but what he is describing is 100% realistic of maverick behavior. It's called G-bias. Mavericks will behave exactly as he described in certain range regimes where they pitch up like that in order to conserve energy and come down like that from a more optimal angle. Pilots very much do have to know those ranges and plan accordingly when operating below a weather deck. If the missile pitches up into a cloud like that it absolutely will lose lock. I don't know how well that is known or modeled in DCS though. -
Mach ich.. Also RDY blinkt ab 1,5 oder 1,6 schon. Geht sicher nicht lange bis das wieder mal auftritt

correct as is CCRP doesn't work with APKWS, unlike all other rockets
ASAP replied to Hulkbust44's topic in Bugs and Problems
This was more a hypothetical. IRL the jet doesn't know or care what kind of rocket is in that pod. The video game designers apparently modeled the pod to be a lot smarter than its real life counterpart. -

Leave the Tomcat alone. У него такая кабина, которая вполне соответствует самолёту, находящемуся несколько месяцев в походе.

FC3 or FF? In the FF, the switch in 0.5 position usually drops pairs. But there is a secret with guns, rockets, bombs, to drop less then the usual salvo. The training mode switch. Turn that on and you can single drop bombs. Have smaller gun Bursts. And fire fewer rockets. In FC3, you’re screwed.

Кажется, только у A-10C (II) выбирается вариант кабины - новая или не очень. Неплохая опция. А то у некоторых перебор с изношенностью, особенно у Томкета.

Counter point, it would be nice if it was an option,i can see that. However, for me no; for two reasons the first is really straightforward, I don't play multilayer, its a logistical nightmare to get people who enjoy playing dcs on time and who want to do campagns. So I'm not convinced the additional market woukd justify the additional effort if it were even possible. 2ndly campaign designers have said many many times, that the way campaigns are currently built it's very difficult at best to make multilayer work, others impossible because of the way triggers work in game. Which means campaigns would be dummed down, or neutered in order to accommodate two players, and debugging would become exponentially harder, meaning the profit from such changes would be at best low... Whilst I understand the goal, I just don't think it's possible with today's tech available in game.

Question on Chuck's guide controller setup
Akiazusa replied to vampyrgtr's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark 3
Looks like it's 95% mapped with buttons/switches on the real Ka50 stick/collective. The only thing missing is which is a switch on the collective, pretty useful if u want to descend rapidly.(evade radar missile) I guess there aren't many switches on the real ka50's stick/collective to fill up the Warthog HOTAS. I personally uses these panels/switches(which are not on the real ka50 hotas) quite often when flying/combat. also these 2 panels: (especially the 4 blue buttons on the left, also FD button will change the autopilot mode from holding to damping, pretty useful for hand flying, also u can just hold trim button for that, will do the same) (mainly the 5 green buttons,(the reset one is already mentioned in Chuck's guide),and the laser arm switch(u can't always leave it to on,since the laser on ka50 is quite easy to burnt out) ) u could bind the remaining controls to them if u like. -
