Chinook (basic) Operational Training mission - Syria
MAXsenna replied to sirrah's topic in Missions and Campaigns
Down on the base close to the border, there are cargos for both slinging and loading. Have a look at the F10 map. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -

For obvious reasons. SP is the larger player base. Probably been asking for DC longer than the MP base due to what that other sim "always" had. Easier to track initial bugs in SP before employing it for MP. DLC campaigns = stories ≈ "endless" missions. That said, moderators often say they don't have any news for us. While after the release of mentioned video, ED should at least be upfront with what the plans for where the DC is heading in the future, for encouragement or disappointment. @BIGNEWY @NineLine Is Enigma correct? Will the DC only be for SP in the Caucasus? Or will it be available for other maps/multiplayer in the future? Those questions should very simple to answer! Cheers and have a great weekend everyone!

Chinook (basic) Operational Training mission - Syria
Zev replied to sirrah's topic in Missions and Campaigns
Just downloaded this mission, and tried to do some slingloading. Where are the "slingloads" located? There is no option in the F6, flew around Camp Hermon --> no joy! Rest of the missions, as far as I could see, do work. Great job Sirrah -
Das sind diese beiden Dinger die sich unterhalb des HUD links und rechts befinden und sich im Flug die ganze Zeit drehen. Dabei handelt es sich nämlich um die sensoren für das HMS und manche Spieler stört diese Animation wohl.

We definitely need the JollyG in Nam. I'd like both please! [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

What's the deal with missing crew for all the new ground units
Kang replied to twistking's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Being reminded of the thread thanks to the bump one can't help but acknowledge how releasing these without visible crew sure was the correct call, seeing how three years later they still would be in the making otherwise, evidently.- 21 replies

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill
Cepacol replied to currenthill's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
A SU-7, MiG-23 and MiG-27 would be very good -
Ah, yes, that's true. I guess I made that mistake seeing how the Jolly Green Giant wasn't exactly known for doing much of that. But the coast guard Pelican is indeed the same fuselage. While I do like the Giant, I would agree that a 'proper' boat hull Sea King would be nicer to have. Not quite believing in it, though.

For German yes, while this is not true for English version/English keyboards. Then it is backslash "\". Cheers!

Full fidelity modules can have several buttons for Radio/intercom. The default # key is usually for the intercom, which doesn't transmit anything by radio but uses the intercom system, to which only ground crew can listen to. There is usually a dedicated radio button that you need to use to be able to actually transmit over the radio. Additionally, make sure the radio preset frequency matches the receiver which you want to contact.
-
I sure hope the problem isnt fixed yet…..because if it is, I am truly bad at bombing (I agree, thats probably it), mine keep falling short all the time….I’m giving up…
-
I agree 100%. I don’t mind paying (btw I’m not buying any more theaters or modules until the dynamic campaign is released) for the multiplayer version. I don’t fly single player so that would be a waste for me. Also, I do not understand why they want to release a single player version since you have a lot of content creators making some awesome campaigns for single players already . Yeah I just watched that video. It is an eye opener for any DCS customer. You are spot on with your comments
-
There you have it. Stop using it. It only works on ground, with Easy Comms enabled, or with FC modules. Start using the correct PTT keybind. For most single PTT modules it is RAlt + \. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Boeing 767 AI mod ver0.1.1 beta (29/Jan/2025 updated)

Would love for AI to use such advanced tactics. Unfortunately, the AI is currently so inept that it will stall out on full afterburner in BVR engagements.

Antennas are both around 36 inches and apg-63 has 3 times the peak power in addition to better processors and a more modern antenna design. Not exactly bigger and more powerful aPG-65 and n019 which do have similar power and antenna designs havd similar range but the antidotes about situational awareness is night and day.

The DCS ecosystem is lacking some civilian aircraft. I suggest to add at least one of the following AC to cater to most scenarios A vintage airliner (f.e. wide-body trijet of some kind) A vintage business jet and/or regional airliner A modern-ish narrow body airliner (with liveries to cover ~1970-today) A modern-ish wide body airliner (preferably a 747, again with liveries covering ~1970-today) A modern-ish business jet and/or regional turboprop airliner (again with liveries to cover different eras) With a smart selection of types, even a few models can cover a lot of eras due to the very long careers of some aircraft. Some types could also appear in military versions, like a 747 "Air Force One". Thanks for considering this suggestion!
