For information only, a bit of an update after getting familiar with the Pico 4 Ultra and VD. These are my current setting in both DCS and VD where I am getting very good quality and 90fps steady. In VD under Streaming tab had to disable SSW. With SSW Always enabled or in Automatic I get smearing images on aircrafts a bit far away not clear. Best to keep it Disabled

Force feedback Joystick from Moza
slghtlystewpid replied to Thunderchief2000's topic in Input Devices
Would this also work with the OH-6A mod? Trying to get full feedback with weapons/skids etc. similar to the Huey but for the OH-6. -
I want to rebind the camera zoom (default is mouse wheel) to my VKB STECS thumb wheel axis but the option is greyed out in the "General" category and it DOES NOT EXIST AT ALL in the SU-25T category. I don't want to have to take my hands off the throttle and stick every dam time I want to change my view. This is very frustrating. I would have started a new post on this but apparently this forum is programed to give a big middle finger to new members.

Does anyone have this rig?
The_Nephilim replied to Zimmerdylan's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Well thing is with iPower you should check on what motherboard they use and what speed the RAM will be set at or capable of. I bought an older Ipower PC and the speed of the ram could not go higher then 2600 when 3200 was common.. -
Through modding, you've been able to do all of this for nearly 10 years, so it's no surprise. The problem is that ED won't accept it because it lacks the necessary open-source information to implement it for modern naval guns (there was already a discussion about it on the Russian forum). For the time being, I wouldn't expect any progress until there's an official announcement.

MODELVIEWER 2.0 CAMERA MOVEMENT
razo+r replied to Panzuur's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Try using the mouse, should be much more controllable. Different modifiers (Shift, Ctrl) will allow you to move the model differently. - Today

As far as Steam is concerned, ED is the developer. They don't have a special system in place for the unique shenanigans that is DCS.

From the first post: This still holds true for now. If something major happens, this may change, but as it stands now, we are still in the same holding position, sorry.

Chinook has actualy your propper CH-47F Shape EDM directory on Core Mods. I dont have that module to check the cockpit on the modelviewer on mods directory.

If we look at some of the data from this thread, you'll find the existing E-2 in DCS is basically still an E-2C under the hood:

This is possible as long as someone from ED (development or support department) confirms that the refund can be made as an exception. Mr. NineLine, I'm waiting for your answer to the question I asked earlier.

I see several interesting points that wouldn't be a bad idea to implement on the SuperCarrier, but as a retired aircraft carrier, what other situations would be interesting to simulate on the deck of an aircraft carrier? I was intrigued by your point about aircraft not being sent to the hangar. Another point that isn't currently simulated is helicopter operations.

Chinook not?

You're probably right, DLSS is awesome for everything but DCS. I find that with DLAA only it's much better than MSAA though, which is pretty crappy in DCS. I don't like DLSS with it though, only DLAA by itself. With the DLSS preset K though, DLSS is still pretty impressive and takes a load off the graphics card. I just prefer it with DLAA only because it gives less artifacting. AD

I would love to answer this one, but as you've said it might be going off topic, so I will politely skip doing that.

Summer Sale Extended | DCS Update | F-16C and F/A-18C New Features
Beirut replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
Just scored the Mig-21 this aft, with that lovely discount no less. It was the last one on my list of things to get. I got it more for the "museum aspect" than for any real plans to make missions with it. Had it recently on the free trial and I just enjoy flying it around and experiencing the Mig-ness of it. And those landings... And now I await my C-130. That's a big #1 on my list of modules I'm waiting for. -

Ditto. "While the USMC outlined in its 2022 Aviation Plan that it will sundown the Hornet fleet by 2030, the last major planned upgrade for its fleet is SCS-31C – 2024. This upgrade plan includes AESA radar integration, improved navigation, electronic warfare enhancements, and new networked-enabled and extended-range weaponry. Aside from JASSM, the weaponry integration includes upgraded variants of the Harpoon anti-ship missile and AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapon C-1. Hi, I logged into Discord and went to the download link, but all I see is a .zip file to download, along with some folders and only entry.lua files..... did I do something wrong? Regards
