Как зачем? Чтоб понимать. По бадиспайку не нашел инфы , но нашел какой то "Сратегик Сервер" . Интересно, но очень заморочено. Это надо все освоить и разобраться в механизмах, что без знания языка - большая трата драгоценного времени . И да, в целом выглядит неплохо. Но все равно это не карьера пилота в привычном понимании. Представляю как выполнил миссию, сел на аэродроме , зашел через 2 недели, а аэродром уже под вражеской стороной. Это все хорошо, когда каждый день летаешь Да соглашусь, наследственность моделируется. Но в контексте одиночного игрока это немного не то чего хочется. А хочется ощутить определенную связь с жизнью конкретного персонажа. Прожить его жизнь. А тут как будто бы каждый раз другой человек. По этой же причине не очень люблю одиночные миссии (кроме тех что дают навыки ) и относительно короткие оффлайн компании.

I just finished reading 'Sweating the Metal' by FLT LT Alex Duncan and I am in the process of reading 'Immediate Response' by Major Mark Hammond. Both of these men flew RAF Chinooks in Afghanistan. Both of them talk about somebody, co-pilot I think or maybe crew chief, calling out the aircraft's speed and altitude while on approach. If something like this could be developed for the DCS Chinook I believe it would be helpful and also add to the in game immersion. Thanks, Jim

I just googled it and it says the C can still engage if the radar is shut off, and isn't as accurate, The D model is more accurate though, through the GPS/INS and so on.

The newest DCS version 2.9.18.12722 introduces breaking changes to net.dostring_in(). These changes, which I consider fundamentally flawed, break many third party missions and scripts that heavily rely on net.dostring_in(), including my web console. I keep reading and hearing about this word "Promise" can someone please point me to the official statements from either side that contain the word "Promise" please. I'm struggling with JDAM delivery using MT mode with the new pod. I have multiple targets selected in point track, so all have the square around them, with one with the circle, that stage has worked well... Once within range, I release a JDAM, then TMS right to cycle through the target list, and see the circled target does indeed move, together with the crosshairs. However all the JDAMs. hit the same target. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if this is a bug. Can record a video of this in a bit.

Is only the HB UI lagging but the rest of DCS works as usual and without lag? You might be running into this rare issue that we had before launch, causing the delay of the release. Which was then fixed for all testers. Mh, odd stuff.
