I absolutely HATE these kind of threads they are so pathetic and create an absolute bad feeling when flying online with a NEW WAVE OF CRYING CHEAT on servers. 'Printscreening' I hate to see that in chat, idiots claim everyone and anyone that they 'printscreen' because they lag. Really pathetic. In answer to the question: YES Cheating probably happens in LOMAC but IMO its very, very few and far between. I haven't really come across someone where I could absolutely say that guy cheated for sure but ive seen plenty of iffy occasions which could be put down to a number of things and last on the list should be CHEATING. These threads are mostly created by people who have been flying LOMAC for a short period of time and because someone constantly beats them they cry FOUL , create a big hulabaloo in the community and low and behold there is a hundred fools crying cheat on every server every time they get shot down or calling people printscreener when they're missiles miss. Come on WTF guys we are supposed to mature adults not CS kidz.

Are there Cheaters in LOMAC...........of Course there is! It goes without saying, really. Is it the answer we would want to hear? Probably not! Bottom Line - as already mentioned LockOn is capable of being Hacked/Interfered with, as is all things of Human Origin.....to what extent is another question altogether. Would you be able to stop it.........Probably Not. From the actions in all probability clevery disguised as In-Game Quirks to the downright ridiculous, it will happen and will continue to do so: Reason - we all can choose how we want to play the Game. There are no Moral/Ethical rules binding us and dictating how to Fly the SIM and even if there were, who would pay attention? What LockOn indeed does have and thankfully so is a Community largely based on Mature, Decent, Honest and Friendly Folk that play the Game having due regard certain fundamental principles, which even then are to a certain extent different/suited to specific situations. Consequently "Strange Behaviour" as outlined in prior posts does not occur often, if at all, especially in a Squad Environment. When it however does occur - let it be Known! Record the track and submit it to the relevant server admins! If that brings no Joy - Make a lotta noise.......... Shame does wonders and in a Community as small and as close-Knit as LockOn it's probably the only effective way of Combatting said behaviour! Just a Thought........

It hapens alot, not having any warning. It often hapens when the shot is made at close range and you are tunring (blind spot) but a full 50sec shot without any warning at all is realy strange, but not unheard of. Sometimes SARH missiles keep guiding after breaking lock if you keep ECM on, were you Jamming?

I follow Yeniceri's reasoning,there are more then a few ppl investing in a good and expensive set-up and play sim's with motivation and a grownup mentality,wouldn't you get upset after being ditched and mocked about by some "cheator" who ****s up your play because he is not going for proper play but wants to have the most kills "with all means necesarry" that is just FUBAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont either wont everybody starting to point fingers and calling names in servers but its something that has to be delt with.

I got error too - with JPEG so I put this JPEG to trash and install without picture in Modman and worked. Yes sounds are good but IMO flare sound is rather strange, too silent I think.

Во-первых - скорее всего использовал не просто тепловые, а одновременный выброс того и другого (которая клавиша "Q") А Р27 и не заточена на работу по вертолетам, БРЛС их скорее всего и не увидит, т.к. крейсерская скорость вертолета меньше мин скорости, на которой производит захват наши допллеровские РЛС Отворота от ракеты - это правильно Дальность в 80-120 км ПМСМ получена на больших высотах и вполне возможно по баллистической кривой (госприемку проходить надо, вот запулили). Скорость в 4,5 Маха оттуда же - при низком давлении скорость звука падает и ракете легче идти, т.к. сопротивление воздуха меньше.

Часто на людях сомневается в том, что проект выйдет, а если и выйдет то не оправдает ожиданий, хотя, в глубине душе верит, что Сталкер будет закончен надо только чуть-чуть подождать. Untrue. There is a distinction between AI and client aircraft. The easiest way to see it is to be killed by each and check the mp_log file afterward. The AI kill won't be there. BUT, the damage models should be distinct, regardless. Well actually, they shouldn't be, but they are.

GG , that still doesn't explain how his engine stoped smoking? From what I believe only AI can do that (you smoke his engine and yet he continues flying as if nothing happened and shortly after smoke/fire is out)?

Last week i notice one man, i think he is using something... I was on his tail, i fire a lot of missles (AIM120, AIM7) from 3-4 miles... But my missles guided not at him, they guied left or right side from him. I well know about low alt bug, but it wasnt it, we were arounf 500-1000 feet alt.. And only last one AIM7 hit him, derectly, he was with a gun-shot distance. My wingman, and some other players says that they have problem to kill that man to...

oops, not until 1:20AM.

фишка в том что злая ракета промахнулась. просто пролетела в нескольких метрах от меня так что я даже её смог увидеть и испугаться. Ник...ну и так все знают кто себе такие вещи позволяет.

Trim Hi, on a real combat helo, if you push it and release in another stick position, the AP will stabilize the helo in that pitch and roll and the artifical force feedback will effect from this new zero stick position. In that way you can fly the helo with light hand movements. During heavy maneuvering, sometimes trim button is held constantly:joystick:, in that case the AP doesn't stabilize and there ain't no force feedback on the stick, so you can breakdance over the battlefield:D... G overlimit etc... Almost like you use and release Su-25T's attitude stabilizer in every few secs. But the helo doesn't want to get back to its stabilized attitude so aggressively. I can imagine an upgraded X52 stick with real trim mechanism:) Bye!

Well, i never record the sounds from in-game (they dont meet the requirements i want for a movie). They are of low quality and don't fit in a movie at all (IMO). But if you record WITH sound, at half speed in lockon, you will run into a small problem in vegas when you speed the clip up; the sound will be out of synch with the footage. So if you plan on recording with sound, don't slow the game down. Record at normal speed. If you still want to use in-game sounds for your movie, simply import all the sounds from the "Sounds" folder in lockon, and edit them into your movie. This way you dont have to worry about the sound beeing out of synch, although now you have to figure out how to make all the audio match the footage. But to speed up a clip, it's quite simple: Right click on the clip you have placed on the timeline, and scroll down to "properties". A new window will pop up, and near the bottom you will see this line: "Playback rate: 1.000". Change this to "2.000" to speed the clip back up to normal speed. The highest number you can use here is 4.000. If you want to go even faster than this, you need to use the "track velocity" option (works pretty much the same way if you wanted to do "stereo" editing, with sounds moving from left to right, or vice versa). Hope this helps you out.

Автор сам для себя выбрал, что он хочет показать своим роликом, и показал это, раз ролик вышел в "свет". А то что вы пишите про ролик, это не критика, а ваше мнение. Если бы вы просили автора показать именно сюжет, а он этого не сделал, тогда это была бы критика работы. Решил внести ясность между критикой и мнением. По моему восприятию этого.

I have a question concerning the stick.. I know that your presently using that machine to develop the joy stick prototype.. Now if you do decide to put this into production is that the machine that you'll use or will you make a mold to reproduce the stick? ~S~ Blaze
