WinWIng is a good choice. Switches on throttle handles are this same as in Hornet. There is no product on the market right now, that would have throttle quadrant matching the real thing. There was Super Taurus, but it's discontinued for long time. WW teased about newer version of it, but there is no solid news about it.

DIL and bomb piper are used in CCIP mode. You can't release Mavs nor JDAMs in CCIP.

Real Hornet has ability to carry GBU-54, and you can change laser code from inside aircraft in that bomb.

No, you don't jett ext. fuel tanks if it's not emergency situation. Tanks cos money, and there is limited supply of them on ship. Dump fuel to correct weight. Empty tanks don't weights too much.

Yes, there is a REC function on MFDs and you can record any screen.

I suppose recording MP4 would be to CPU heavy. Even F-15E doesn't record video just screenshots every second (or 5 secs?). But if you really want to record TGP you can do it - export DDI to external screen and use OBS or similar software to record DDI's exported screen. It works.

TDC - Throttle Designator Controller is an analog hat on the throttle SCS - Sensor Control Switch aka Sensor Select Switch aka Castle Switch. These are old tutorials. In the past slewing TGP was constantly changing target designation. Now it doesn't work like this. Slewing TGP does not change target designation, you need to depress TDC to do this. Marker on the HUD is showing designated target, not TGP FOV. AFAIR Hornet does not show TGP FOV. If you want to slew designated target on the HUD - press SCS up to make HUD priority sensor.
