  1. Works for me, so do the repair, try to fix it and don't whine about refund after 5 mins test. null
  2. For STPs - first designate WPT as STP, then set alt. If you do it another way around, alt will not work. You don't have to launch at 3 ft. Set profile HIGH and launch missiles below 35k ft - it will make missile fly low. But remember that SLAM-ER is not ground avoidance capable. It will smash hills, buildings, trees etc.
  3. Because Link 4 is ACLS system and if you're connected with the system plane "thinks" you're landing. If you're on penetration part of recovery don't use A/P when you don't have to. When you're in flight, don't turn on Link 4, it's only for ACLS recovery.
  4. You need to drop it near the target for bomb to track it, not anywhere you want. You both have to have target coordinates or you first have to LSS A-10C's laser, designate target and drop bomb on it. Also remember that in DCS laser has a limitation up to 8 nm. You can't laser designate further.
  5. Rumor says that SSAA is causing this. Try to turn off SSAA.
  6. No, it's not unchecked. Right column of checkboxes sets the state of the option. Left column of checkboxes sets if mission should force the setting. In your case most of left checkboxes are not checked, that means mission won't force settings and user setting are in play. If you have random failures turned on in your game options that's how it will work.
  7. Doesn't matter. The only limitation we found is that ACLS can guide only one plane in the time. So when one plane will land and disconnect from ACLS, only then next aircraft can couple autopilot with ZCLS, hence it's better to make push time from stack every 2 minutes, not 1 minute. Also sometimes with ACLS you will bolter. I don't know what causes it.
  8. Since 2019 JDAM behavior, including flying, programming, accuracy, changed several times. Some changes where minor, some where huge. Some where argued by users as incorrect and were reverted (for example programming targets in TOO). You're not up to date with changes for 4 years... You just chose to pick on one (minor) change, that took place long time ago, and you're making your life goal to prove everyone you're right.
  9. You are referring to 4-years-old tutorial to new feature introduced to Early Access module. It is obvious that this may and probably will change. HMD alignment have changed, AIM-120 behavior have changed and lots more. Talking about 4-years-old video all the time is like arguing Pluto is a planet, because it's what you were taught in the school, like you would say there are countries Yugoslavia and USSR in Europe. World is changing, that includes games. If you have any documented information how it worked in real F/A-18C, please provide it to developers. Insisting that it should work one way or another simply based on introduction video of this same developer is not a legitimate source.
  10. What about it? Just connect to Link4 and fly manually using tadpole.
  11. It wasn't the question.
  12. After last patch ACLS finally works in multiplayer. We tested it with friends, 6 planes in stack, all nicely landed hands free!
  13. It's not Viper. Hornet needs a lot of DDI clicking. You can't interact with HSI with HOTAS.
  14. As in title - on airstart INS knob set to NAV instead of IFA.
  15. LOL It was such a vaguely worded statement I had no idea what they ment
  16. I think no one mentioned it, and for sure patch notes didn't mention that, but for me a huge change is... TGP! Now TGP renders view in 80 nm! null

But answering to your question - you can not prevent ADV line obscuring part of the display.
  18. Do you switch to HARM screen directly from "HARM DSPLY"? That means missiles are not powered on, so they won't detect anything. You can select them from stores, box the HARM, then if you switch the DDI to other page and go back to HARM via HARM DSPLY everything is working ok. Boxing the HARM on stores page will turn them on, so you have to do it first.
  19. Because smaller one is limited to the angel radar antenna is able to shift to the side.
  20. It's known issue from the start for ACLS. ED still is considering if it is a bug, or just ignore it.
  21. In DCS this is not the case. Nor speed, nor landing gear doesn't make speed break to auto retract. Only flaps down do that.
  22. I'm afraid that if you'll stick to 1 & 2 and ignore 3 for 6 months, you'll get bored quite quickly. There's nothing wrong in learning a bit of everything et this same time. Yes, start with cold start, take off, airfield pattern and landing. But then why not to put all in one - take off, some ground pounding, then landing? To learn carrier operations you'll to master your plane in low speed and managing "on speed" flying. But you can start to read about carrier pattern and Cases from start. I highly recommend this document, which is true Bible of DCS Carrier Ops: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ncJuecF3DWl7hNrDQaHM_EKKlogimroA/view?usp=sharing

  24. We don't have dozens of elements of real procedures. This is only a game, there always will be simplifications.
  25. Link from 476 page still doesn't work.
