  1. Did you launch the missile on waypoint designation? Verify correct waypoint altitude.
  2. I really start to believe that DCS is some kind of magic. To turn on TACAN run the game on odd hour and spit over your left shoulder. To lower gear have even number of lightbulbs in the room and no more than two cats.
  3. After the patch there is a problem with TACANs. Regardless on mission or map TACANs sometimes are connected as closed as 10 nm. Sometimes 20-30 nm.
  4. The video doesn't say you can slave TGP to RWR contact. It says, that if you're tracking air contact with TGP it will be corelated with RWR signal.
  5. So, there is a problem. I place a blue Hornet. By default it's designated Enfield 1-1, in datalink tab under Voice Callisgn Label (VCL) it is ED 11. Then I change flight callsign to Squid 3-1. VCL stays ED 11. Then I add another aircraft to the flight and the new aircraft is SD 32. So I have a flight with VCLs ED 11 and SD 32.

  7. Don't look at your airspeed it will differ depending on aircraft weight. Just fly on-speed.
  8. Condition are good enough for pattern, but not for marshal stack over carrier.
  9. No, Case II is a merge of Case III and Case I - you have holding and commencing from Case III, but you don't land straight in, but enter Case I pattern.
  10. I'm not sure if it works like that, but isn't it possible to move cross on the DDI, then press TDC depress to retarget missile?

  12. Correction - you get that info only on a HSI. On SA page you will have cursor position to BE. To selecto options line band - X/Y, A-A mode and trasmit&receive or receive only modes.

  15. 3PTS is a long standing bug. Regarding rate of descend looking from external camera won't help you. Check TacView telemetry or on replay rate of descend on HUD, but replays are not very reliable. In general AI LSO in DCS isn't very good. It's better to use Air Boss script. Can't help you with your recoveries if we can't watsch tracks or TacView or video.
  16. Per NATOPS you shut down left engine first, wait until hyd press drops to... I\m not sure now, I think 2 on the gauge, then you pump your joystick forward-aft to bleed L hyd pres. Then when you shut down right engine monitor right hyd pres gauge.
  17. It more sounds like a desnyc - You think you're (or other player is) in place A, but because of desync server sees you/him 2 m to the side and bang - collision. It happens regardless of wings status.
  18. There is a long standing bug with TACAN if it's on for a longer period of time. Just turn it off and on again.
  19. LOL, like with a Viper, right? That was a great EA start I can't see a problem with a LGBU or a pipper delivery with Mudhen. Did you consider that you're doing some mistake? As on bombing moving target it's a general bug in DCS, on Hornet all LGBUs fall behind moving target.
  20. Sounds like you're designated WPT with incorrect altitude. Default alt for WPT in mission editor is ~6000 ft. You have to place it on ground level (enter 0, it will self correct for ground level). It shouldn't act like that on TGP designate.
  21. 1% rule didn't work for me. Think of it as a general guideline, not strict rule. Test, try different parameters, learn to observe surroundings outside the cockpit - it's VISUAL not INSTRUMENTAL landing. And remember that everything will change with wind. Airfield is not a carrier, you won't always have close to perfect wind.

  23. I would say it's not a bug, but change in mechanizm how liveries work, so you need to correct your custom liveries. It's really easy as described above. The question is when default liveries will be fixed to new config.
  24. Ok, so it's a livery. So it won't work in multiplayer mission, unless everybody has the livery... Less than perfect solution.
  25. Yes, I know Model Viewer, I know what arguments are. How can I manipulate them in mission editor for statics?
