  1. When TPOD in FLIR mode. After TPOD picture disappears from RMCD when selecting ie. SSS FWRD. TPOD FLIR doesn't stay on when re-selecting, it reverts to CCD, & you have to select FLIR again....is this right behavior?

  3. You guy's are talking about different sticks. The new "Gray" Logitech X56 is supposed to be improved in a lot of areas vs.Saitek X55.

  5. I can see them & they are way overdone IMO. I think if you set your shadows to flat only, then you can see them.

    Tried your mission. I can contact JTAC but after I respond "ready to copy remarks" he stops responding? Are you sure the JTAC is still working?

  8. Mine thumb-not-a-slider, without using the software, works like 2 buttons ie. forward>Drag chute deploy, backward>Drag chute release.

  12. Nope, you can call them & they'll fix your RMA in 2 days. At least they did for me. Don't go through online support, it's useless.
  13. NO! no more FC3! This is a SIMULATOR for "As real as it gets". ED says no more FC3 & so does HT (if you read between the lines). It will not be a profitable business. The time & resources will be a waste of money vs. the very small amount of potential customers. If current FC3 F-15, Su-27, SU-25T can't attract new people, no new airplane will either. DCS is moving forwards, not backwards. FC3 modules are a relic from Lock On. The AFM for 15/27 was a learning step for future ED modules. You already have FC3 modules. Use them! Or learn the full-fidelity modules, of which some are as simple as FC3 if you use fast-start. If not, there's plenty of other games for you out there. :P

It's 50/50 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3198046&postcount=1 Let's say ED decides to do FC3-F18, they will have to make a whole new cockpit (code-wise) to make it non-clickable & intergrade every other system in it (sensors, hydraulics, electrics, weapons etc.). I bet it would be to much coding work vs. the price they could sell it for & to few people buying it. Just my 2cents. Anyway it ain't happening as per ED's statement. Personally I'm glad they made that decision;).
  16. Is the speed bug fixed with this mod? ie. can the B747 cruise at M.8 at FL360, & without a high nose pitch attitude. That wasn't possible before.

  18. I'm not using the the software at all, only for 1:st initial calibration & then I've set it to "manual" in w10 startup, so it's off all the time. Why do you need the Software? Just set the x56 up trough DCS controls, it works very good, all axis & buttons are recognized. You have enough buttons to go without the Software & can use a modifier button to get double x56 functionality.;)
  19. And you have turned on FLIR in the TPOD? Coz I don't have any probs seeing targets in TPOD FLIR mode.
  20. Hi, Hosting MP mission. Let's say I want my squad to take-off in VMC "good weather" & after 1hr when they come back to the airport I want IFR "bad weather". Is this possible, through dynamic weather script or something else? /Thank you!.

  22. Hi, My SRS 1.4.8.0 stopped working after the update? Can't open it? I have the required NET.F. Also the Scripts are installed in "DCS_AJS37" folder in Saved Games...dunno if that's an issue, but never seen it before. /Thanx
  23. I've had the new Gray X-56 for 2 weeks now. I've flown airplanes & helis with it for app. 20hrs (AV8B, AJS37, A10C, M2K, F5, UH1, Mi8, Mig15, F86, FW190,). I got the stick coz I wanted the twist & the 2 thumb-rotary's, that was a must for me. Here's my mini review: Stick: Pros: Very good precision in roll/pitch, no dead-zones needed. Twist re-centers Ok. + for the mini-stick with push-down button. 4 tension springs. All buttons are reachable beside 2, without shifting position of my hand. Cons: Stick ergonomics aren't perfect. Hard to reach the upmost 4-way hat & right side button (all other buttons are reachable). No 2 stage trigger. Twist for rudder is little to hard for heli flying. Throttle: Pros: Very good ergonomics, all buttons reachable. Big & sturdy, many buttons & sliders/knobs. Throttle hardness friction went away after a few days. Easy to split throttles. Good precision. Cons: Lower thumb rotary is a little harder to move then the upper. The 2 4-way hats on the right side aren't ideally placed, should have been placed in front. I'm very happy with my X-56 :thumbup:. It's no perfect HOTAS but it does it's job quite good. For that price-range it's worth it! You can fly the A10C, M2K, AV8B without any major issues;).
