  1. Can't believe this is still going. Both sides have gotten what they've asked for (and then some, benefitting the cold war servers) yet there are still problems. Never change, DCS community.
  2. Ah, I can see it was HAF that carried the AGM-84, at least once, on a bl50. Thank you for clarifying.
  3. Best way to find your ideal curves - get in the air, pick a speed, let's say 300kts, then try to stick with that speed for a bit. Afterwards try to fly formation with the tanker, without actually tanking, and repeat the process. Adjust curves from there and repeat.
  4. Is this still the case with the most recent weapon restriction update? Not adding fire to the flame but the weapon restriction update was brought forward again following the recent "HARMgate" conversations. There was conflicting evidence that the USAF/ANG 2007 version of the bl.50 could both carry and launch 4 HARMs. We know that export versions of the F-16C can definitely launch 4 HARMs. Is the weapon restriction update based on the conflicting evidence of USAF/ANG loadouts or the fact that the F-16C can indeed launch 4 HARMs with the correct connections which, I'm guessing, the restriction idea is essentially simulating the mechanics wiring the umbilical cord. I know it's unlikely that the AGM-84 is now in scope but thought I'd ask anyway. I also don't know which block version of the F-16 supports AGM-84.
  5. It is opt-in/out and up to mission makers and server hosts. The change was made based on lots of conflicting feedback that supported both arguments. Get over yourself.
  6. Let's wait and see what the new weapon restriction system allows. To me the UI looks like we'll be able to add what ever we want on certain stations.
  7. How embarrassing. I've discovered my issue based on your track file. I've been pressing the PUS Arming Button before I flick the Weapon Safe/Armed Switch on. Having just pressed the button after arming I can see the lights illuminate and the rockets fire correctly now. I agree with your latest point, should the rockets fire without PUS?
  8. Sorry, didn't consider that. I'll record two tracks on Caucasus tomorrow.
  9. I've attached two tracks, one on the ground and one in the air. Both tracks exhibit the same behaviour where, after so many launches, the rockets stop firing for until I press 3-4 times. Throughout the launches, however, the number of rockets reduces and increases. I have no issues with the duration of which I am pressing the Release Weapons button. The timing is consistent with other successful launches. FirstMip.trk SecondMip.trk
  10. I have been experiencing this same issue. I have held the launch button indefinitely and have tested on both the TM Warthog and Virpil CM2 sticks. The behaviour is as described; the rockets will launch for the first several presses and then nothing happens for the next several attempts. I usually circle back around and press a few more times until rockets start firing again. Is it cool down behaviour, perhaps?
  11. This may be in the wrong forum as I couldn't really find a better place to post this. It is simply to ask if it's possible for a "Last Updated" date to be added to the User Files section of the website so we can see when an item was last updated? Obviously, any items which haven't been updated should not have this visible.
  12. Did you have to use that font?
  13. The Hip needs more TLC for sure. With the number of glaring bugs, such as this, the rocket pod salvos etc, it feels like it has essentially been abandoned or put far on the backburner way into the very distant future.
  14. I've attached mine In-game resolution is 2560x2040 TM+MFD.lua I have just noticed also that the crew status indicator is at the very bottom of my resolution which places it on my left MFD.
  15. I came here to raise an issue with the controls indicator but I believe this is the same thing. I recently added two 7" displays to behave as MFDs. In doing so I increased my resolution to 2560x2040 and created a LUA file to set the center screen and the LEFT/RIGHT_MFCD values. This has caused the controls indicator to increase in size on the Y axis which means it takes up a bigger portion of the screen despite having set my Center display in the LUA file as per the resolution of my primary display. It seems the controls indicator is scaling to the total resolution and not respecting the Center display resolution. In Russian helicopters this is more obtrusive due to there being two controls indicators (top left and top right).
  16. Good video that demonstrates the issue. The previous thread should not have been closed because this bug clearly isn't fixed.
  17. I've seen this happen a few times but have only been able to catch it in a smaller track file. Not sure what the repro steps are but the cockpit of the Hind tends to glow green and fade to white before it returns to normal. This only happens when you switch to a new Hind role. 18. The Mi-8 is a fantastic helicopter, probably the one I'm enjoying the most right now. Having multicrew would be fantastic.
  19. So does this actually mean anything or is op talking from his behind with regards to the "HSD future"?
  20. Should be in development limbo for a few years.
  21. Just had a quick scan through this thread and saw reference to Helios. Is there any way to export the MFDs to a second and third screen with the good ol' LEFT_MFD and RIGHT_MFD LUA setup?
  22. The bullet has been bitten! Should hopefully arrive within a month. Thank you, very much!
  23. This all sounds good! How is the helicopter flying with the T-50? My main concern is that I'll get the CM2 and discover that it's too stiff, or requires too much pressure, to fly helicopters without trimming.
  24. Hi folks, I'm on the market for a base upgrade, currently using the TM Warthog base and considering an upgrade to the T-50CM2. I've checked a few threads here and on Reddit and see mixed responses in terms of running it without an extension. I do have the Monstertech mounts, which the TM Warthog is connected to, and plan to mount the CM2 but I have no intention of using an extension. This is quite a loaded question but is the CM2 the right choice for me, or should I be looking at the WarBRD, based on the fact that I'll be mounting without an extension? The aircraft I'll be flying are helicopters and jets, not sure if that makes a difference to the base selection. Just want to be sure before biting the bullet.
  25. Agreed. It's confusing and makes little sense to introduce this edge case for one aircraft.
