I'd like to have the option to download templates for vehicles in CA. Skinners could use them to bring some life into older models.

1 - The track animation for some vechiles seems to be backwards while driving at high speed. 2 - There's also a transparency issue with older models when dust trail is present. Tank tracks issue.trk

Challenger 2's damage with APFSDS are not enough to kill a T-80 or T-90 with only one shot, even when you hit their weak points. During testing, the damage at 200m to a side shot was consistently hitting 90-98% HP max, while other tanks (120mm) are able to kill the same target with 1 shot. Challenger 2 damage.trk For comparison, I'm using an Abrams with the same parameters. Abrams damage.trk

investigating What's going on with thermals?
Hotel Tango replied to Apocalypse31's topic in Bugs and Problems
I agree 100% on this. If you need any tracks, I can provide them. Also, I'd like to request an option to use the green filter while using thermals. It's pretty easy to find videos on YT representing Abrams gunners using it. -
AIs see through trees
Hotel Tango replied to horus-DCS's topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
This is a very serious issue. Hopefully the devs take a look at it. As Apocalypse said, this module could be great! The perspective of playing as a ground unit while your friends operate their helis and planes are one of the most fun experiences one can have. But, the bugs that remains have to be taken care of. -
Leopard 2 turret "over rotation" while aiming (all variants)
Hotel Tango replied to Hotel Tango's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi! Is there any news on this? Can you guys try It out as well to replicated this issue? -
Can reproduce, and it can be exploited by the launcher player. Bug F1.acmi Bug F1.trk

Hi! While aiming with any of the Leopard 2 variants, the turret seems to miss the intended target, overshooting it and oscilating until it reaches the aim point. This makes using any joystick to control the turret almost useless. It also impacts players who control the turret with mouse. Track attached. Leopard 2 turret.trk

fixed Leopard 1A3 reverse speed is too slow
Hotel Tango replied to Hotel Tango's topic in Bugs and Problems
Track, as needed. Leopard 1a3 reverse.trk -
Hi! The reverse speed in-game for the Leopard 1A3 is 8km/h, while most sources report it at around 20-25km/h. How to reproduce: take control of the unit, engage reverse gear until max speed is reached

investigating Reloading Doesn't Reload
Hotel Tango replied to Apocalypse31's topic in Bugs and Problems
One simple alternative for tanks would be to either remove the penality in reload time (unrealistic, but it also shoudn't be 15+ seconds) or to remove the 2 racks entirely. So, instead of having 14/28 Sabot rounds, you would have 42. The better option is to fix the feature as OP suggested, and give you the option to choose when to reload the ready ammo rack at any time. -
Turret control in isometric view is stuck on mouse
Hotel Tango replied to Rongor's topic in DCS: Combined Arms
I have the same issue, I use a joystick to aim in turret mode, and i'd like to use the same Axis to move in either view -
Can confirm, binocular view locks the vehicle's commands.

F-5E RWR search filter fix
Hotel Tango replied to Beamscanner's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Does it break IC now? If that's the case, could we please keep one thread open about the issue in the Bug report, because by the looks of it, every thread was closed while the issue remains... The F-5E in DCS is the only "Bluefor" plane with an RWR that either warns you about a radar "searching" but not firing at you, or "firing" but not searching. And it looks like a simple misunderstanding of how it should work by the dev team. -

Kuwait Air Force Livery Wrong Fuel Bag Colors
Hotel Tango replied to RavenFrost's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi, the problem with this livery is still present to this day. Fresh install, standalone OpenBeta 2.8 -
The C-101 has this feature, you can see the shape of the nose change if you select different liveries! Surprized me a lot when i saw that
