  1. DCS crashes. Doesn´t matter if it is in ME, in flight, or in loading menu. Just keep both versions and if you want to edit older missions you can use the older version. At least is what i did, but to be honest i rather start to add only the new version from now on. Enjoy.
  2. I wasn´t expecting a reply from the users because we know so little about the DC, just trying my luck to see if someone of ED read this and reply. Either the way, thank you for taking your time to reply. My expectaction are the same than yours.
  3. Hi everyone, Will be possible to edit/populate our AFB´s with statics with the Dynamic Campaign like we do with SP? (i have my AFB´s and Aircraft carriers populated with statics, random traffic, etc). Thank you. F.
  4. Looks aweome, great work. Eager to try this liverie. Thank you for your work.
  5. same here, only happens when a carrier/statics are involved. Lately my workaround is editing the mission in ME then save and launch Single Mission from the main menu and usually works (sometimes it doesn´t), If i launch the mission directly from the ME i get the Sim poststart hung. From all of my tests in missions it has in common the Supercarrier and deck statics (core ones).
  6. The line "{"Pilot_F18_FP_Map", 0, "mfd3", true};" should be added to the description.lua of the liveries you´re using. There are other ways to do it (you can create an OVgme ready file to add to the DCS core) but this is the way i use it.
  7. Created a new mission for testing and the S-3b worked as intended. it seems the issue was mission-specific. Solved.
  8. Thanks. I tried without any mods enabled (core and savedgames mods) and based with the fact you don´t have any issues i´m going to continue to do more tests so i can find the culprit. And if not, i will leave here a track of the issue.
  9. The S-3b is not working. He doesn´t reply and the callsign given in ME won´t show while in flight (also, the own pilot voice when calling the tanker it´s in russian). In ME is marked as bomber (B) instead of tanker (K). Thanks in advance. F.
  10. I can´t use the S-3b. On radio comm menu it shows as a number and the language is russian when asking for tanking. In Mission Editor it shows as a bomber (B) instead of tanker (K).
  11. Thank you lee1hy for your awesome work for the community.
  12. Not everything is a bug, and most of the time is user error. Razo+r explained what you didn´t know (which is valid) you don´t need to reply like you´re being offended.
  13. Indeed. Although i´m not a liverie creator i edit my liveries to my own liking/standards and i have about +40GB in Hornet liveries (user files and some edited by me) and if someday the Hornet gets a 3D update i´m aware that all my liveries are gone and i´ll start over...
  14. +1 here The Hornet needs some 3D love.
  15. I´m sorry, i thought you need help with deck config. As Raven stated, you can place them in ME (like the pic he posted) . I have no issues placing the units guiding by the lines on deck. And of course sometimes is trial/error if you´re like me and obsessed with perfection when placing the statics. I´m use F2 view to check the layout then i go back to Mission Editor to fine tune the statics position.
  16. If you´re talking about carrier deck config: I use real life pics as a guide to mimic the carrier deck. We´ve got so much information available you just need to look around. I use docs and listen to podcasts which also help me understand the dynamic of the carrier deck of a supercarrier.
  17. No prob, glad i could help in some sort. I have some cockpit liveries too and i just added the line i mentioned earlier to the description.lua of the liveries and then the kneeboard shows fine. Enjoy!
  18. I do always my walkaround in VR (and even go by car/bus to the ramp), so, i don´t want/need any animation that would take my walkaround from me. And usually animations like that don´t work well for VR due to the fact it induces nausea.
  19. This issue happened to me on the legacy Hornet when using the CJS Superbug mod. If you´re using a cockpit liverie, or, using the CJS mod add this line to the description.lua (in the case of CJS mod add the line to the .lua file of the mod): {"Pilot_F18_FP_Map", 0, "mfd3", true};
  20. I´m sorry to hear that lee1hy. I don´t get it... people really think that they can steal content work and not get caught? and it´s depicable attitude.
